And a little out of line, too. I understand what you're saying and I agree that the quality of the game is what matters, not the player on the cover. But everyone has the right to say that they like or dislike the choice of player without being insulted.

Some of you are soo stuipd . .. Does it matter who is on the cover ....If guys would buy it if Fucking Rusty Larue was on it ...its a game ...its just a cover ...damn it ...blah blah blah curse curse blah

I also have jumper's knee (patellar tendonitis)...it takes away a chunk of your leaping ability and can be a pain.

Amazingly though, I can deal with it without cursing people out like a child.

Should be the MVP or a solid player like Tim Duncan, Kidd (was a good choice IMO), Marbury, Brand, Mashburn etc.

I don't agree with VC on the cover. I much rather have seen Dirk or Steve Nash or even my boy J. O'Neal. It was bad enough having to look at Kidd for a year.

i don't really care who's on the cover as long as the game lives up to its expectations. on second thought, i'm gonna buy it anyway

well, i think tmac or kobe deserved it more than vc, but who cares, as long as the game's good...

I don't like VC being on the cover coz he hasn't done jack over the past 2 years, but the game is the same, no matter who is on the cover. Hell, they could put Mario Austin of the Chicago Bulls on the cover, but nothing in the game is different.

ditto w/ mjfever, with all that air canada goes through w/ the nagging injuries and the media, i think he always tries his best when he's on the court. to watch him play at full throttle is very entertaining. i was really proud to see him play for the olympics. I vouch him to be on the cover.
