D-LEAGUE STANDOUT WILL CONROY GIVEN TRY-OUT

Image

Will Conroy, A D-League standout from the Tulsa 66ers was given a try-out playing against PG Darrick Martin. The said reason for this was that Darrick Martin was to retire before the 1st game of the season. Coach Mitchell was said to have been impressed by Conroy's step-back middle jumper which broke Martin completely. Conroy is expected to be signed to a 1 year minimum deal

-Conroy averaged 15 points and 10 assists with the Tulsa 66ers
-Has had 3 triple-doubles with the Tulsa 66ers, which is the most times along with Julius Hodge

3PK, Scoop, Thanks, Only Problem is the low Stamina, I really want to develop him though, He's 23 or something so maybe he can become a solid bench player in a year or 2

anyway, I'm gonna have to delay even further because I'm having problems with my sliders, I was all OMFG WTF!!!!! when Chris Bosh was missing dunks on the open floor, anyone with suggestions for the sliders?

RAPTORS TRASH BUCKS IN HOME-OPENER

Image

The Raptors dominated from the beggining due to strong defensive performances in the backcourt. Williams and Redd combined for 54 points, but it wasn't enough as the Bucks never reduced the lead to lesser than 10. They scored high, yet shot a low percentage, because of the pressure that Guards Anthony Parker and Jose Calderon put on them. Bosh struggled on the offensive, but Parker picked up the slack there as well with 22 points. Will Conroy provided a pleasant suprise with 15 points off the bench, said Coach Mitchell: "Since we knew that the Bucks weren't gonna beat us at that point, I told him to show me his scoring ability" Conroy showed great speed in getting into the paint, and finishes very well,. Reports say that he will be given extra time after that performance to see what more he could do.

Wow, this is a really good dynasty. Hopefully your Raps are as successful as the real ones. (at least in the reg. season)

RAPTORS GET PAST SPURS WITH LATE GAME SURGE

Image

It was an even game from the start, and nearing the final minutes it seemt like it was going to end that way, But the Raptors Will Conroy continued his play off the bench to start a last minute surge that finished the game." He just came in and caught us by surprise" said Coach Popovich, "He's playing somewhat like Tony Parker these last few games... now if only he could last on the floor for longer periods of time". Duncan dominated the boards during the 3rd Quarter where he had all 3 of his offensive rebounds keeping the Spurs in the, but was injured after a collision with Rasho Nesterovic, He returned later, but is expected to be out a few games after. Bosh continues to have scoring struggles, but continues to rebound very well. after a solid defensive effort against the Bucks backcourt, the Raptors backcourt seemt to have collapsed as Parker and Ginobli scored a combined 57 points

(I know I said that this would be a week-by-week recap thing, but this one game is of great importance to the next few events that will come out, after this, the rest of the week will be recapped later)

Wow... you beat SAS. You predict to do much better than the RL Raps, wouldn't that be pretty unrealistic? Toronto was even supposed to do well this season.

Also, how come your boxscores don't have quarter-by-quarter scores? This is looking like a very strong dynasty story. Props.
