Season Opener against the Knicks. Memphis win in a good effort from a All-Star

On our game opener we face the new york knicks with out stephon marbury and jamal Crawford. On the first half, the Memphis leading by 13 with the help of the all-star Pau Gasol 13 points and also outscoring the Knicks in the half 18 to 26 and New york have been struggling in the first half 35 percent and both teams don’t have a 3 point made in the first half. On the 3rd Quarter the Knicks surge outscoring Memphis 25 to 14. On the 4th Quarter we found ourselves being outscored by the Knicks they lead 6 points in the last 3 minutes of the game but because of a 8-0 run we now have a 2 point lead but the last shot by Pau Gasol considered it done and the Memphis win 81-84. Pau Gasol double-double 23 and 10 get the win and also newly acquired Eddie Griffin added 10 points and 6 reb of the bench and also a effort of the Highflyer Hakim Warrick 16 points also get it done. While on the Knicks, Steve Francis 21 points is a team high and also Eddy Curry 14 points and 16 rebounds wasn’t enough to seal the victory.

Final Score Memphis win at home-opener 84-81

Hey Griffin, do not show here in the game that we have relationship.

Next game will be charlotte i think.Keys players to watch for in the next game.

Memphis:
Pau Gasol-the star of the memphis so he will carry the team to win
Mike Miller-after only scoring 2 points in the opener. He would like to bounce back.

Charlotte:
Emeka Okafor-we have to watch out for him in the glass.we do not want to be out rebound by him.
Gerald Wallace-this guy is a solid hustler so might want to defend him nicely and force him to do jump shots.
Raymond Felton-watch out for some nice assit for him.
Adam Morrison-dont want to leave him open for three

Hoping for viewers to see my dynasty

Edit:Just forgot to put the player of the game.

Momentum would like to continue in a win over the Charlotte Bobcats.
Image

We have a momentum going when we face the bobcats because we just beat the knicks at home and we will face charlotte at home again.

In the first half of play. It was a very contested play that it was raining jumpshot at the FedEx forum. Both teams are above .500 percent shooting from the floor and also both teams have great production from their bench and also Memphis out rebounding and out-assist the bobcats who only play by themselves so that’s why their down 11 but a buzzer-beater by Gerald Wallace cut it down by nine.. Raymond Felton has 11 points in the half..
On the third quarter, the bobcats come back on the start and make a 14-2 run. But the Memphis will not let the lead being cut, they make a run lead by Rudy Gay 6 points in the quarter. The Memphis in the third has been shut down by defense and only make .386 percent shooting from the floor. On the fourth quarter, the bobcats thought they will blow the game away because of poor shooting from the Grizziles. But because of Mike Miller hot shooting from the arc they make the run that the Bobctas could not could not make it close as the Memphis win 98-85. Pau Gasol 18 points and 10 rebound help them seal the win. Raymond Felton has the game high of 25 points but could not help their team to a come from behind win.

Some strict to the eye stats.

Memphis

Mike Miller- 17 points and 5 rebounds.
Rudy Gay- 14 points and 7 assits.

Bobcats

Emeka Okafor- 11 points and 9 rebounds
Gerald Wallace- 18 points and 6 rebounds.

Player of the Game- Pau Gasol- 18 points and 10 rebounds (9-22 from the floor)

Image
Gerald has good effort of keeping the lead down but wasn't enough

Image
Emeka not happy about only having 11 points

Next game will be against the Pistons. Any advice will be good.

Key players to watch for:

Memphis
Eddie Griffin- he as another good effort in the bobcats game, so he will be a factor

Pistons
Chaunchey Billups- three points will be a factor
Richard Hamilton- penetration will be a factor
Rasheed Wallace- out rebound him

Memphis(2-1) lost to a struggling team Pistons(1-2)
Image

On the pistons game, we thought it will be a easy first game on the road because of their record 0-2. But we find ourselves down and a poor shooting night just .380 percent shooting from the floor and a foul trouble on our all-star Pau Gasol on the first quarter as were down 15-28 .On the second quarter the struggling continues as Pau Gasol only scored 7 first half points but Hakim Warrick keeping the game close scoring 8 of his 12 points on the quarter but wasn’t enough as they lead by eighteen at the end of the first half 32-50. On the third quarter we managed to keep the game close as Rudy Gay scored 8 points on the quarter and also Mike Miller scoring big 3 to keep the game alive, but the pistons have answers on the bench as Ronald Murray beat the buzzer to end the quareter as the score 54-73. On the fourth quarter, we managed to stop them as Pau Gasol blocking anyone who drives as he has 5 blocks on the game and also scored 25 points despite his teammates struggling and also Mike Miller big in the fourth as he hit 2 big three’s to stop the pistons on making a big run, but wasn’t enough as they only keep the lead up to eight as they lose for the first time this season 91-101 and also this is the first win by the pistons. Big night by Richard Hamilton has he scored 27 points and hit big free throws to help them win their first game.

Poor shooting and a comeback didn't work result in a lose for the Rockets and a win by Memphis 91-85

Records of both teams
Image

Two players on both team will play their former teams, Shane Battier a former Memphis now a Rockets and Stromile Swift a former Rockets now back with Memphis. Both players being traded off-season. Will they make impact on their former teams on this game?

On the first quarter, it was a terrible shooting from the Rockets as they have a hard time passing thru the defense of the Grizziles, only .192 shooting from the floor on the first quarter from Houston while Memphis .556 shooting from the floor as the score after the first 12-21 lead by Memphis. On the second quarter, the struggling continues as they have outscored by Memphis 18-25 on the first half. Coach Jeff Van Gundy expect to do some adjustments on the second half. 46-30 score on the end of the first half, lead by the Grizziles. On the third, the Rockets have comeback and cut the lead to 5. The score is 56-61 after the third. On the fourth, the Rockets have been shooting good but could not win the game as they keep their starters only 2 mins remaining on the game, the bench play on their best as the keep the game alive and cutting the lead to three. But good defense from the Grizziles did not let the Rockets to win the game as they win by a score of 85-91. Pau Gasol has good solid game with 19 points and 14 rebounds, former Rockets Stromile Swift came of the bench and have 10 points and 6 reb. T-mac has 17 points on the Rockets and former Memphis Shane Battier has good game with 16 points.

Poor shooting and foul trouble from the Suns result to a win by Memphis

Record of both teams
Image

Recap of the game

Memphis will have a 3 game road trip with this game

On the first quarter, we managed to put some Suns player into foul trouble including Amare Stoudamire, Shawn Marion and a backup center Kurt Thomas as Memphis took advantage and lead 25-20. On the second quarter, the bench of Suns took charge as they have a 13-4 run because [of their play a fast break but Memphis still have a lead 43-42. On the third, it was a close game but still a lead by Memphis 71-64. On the fourth, the Suns managed to keep the game close as Marion despite foul trouble on the first half have big shots and also the leading minutes in the Suns players but still a struggling Suns could not win the game as they lose by 5 100-95. Pau Gasol has a double-double again 25 points and 11 rebounds and also Memphis strike shooter Mike Miller has a great game and also has a big shot that did not let the Suns make a comeback, he has 26 points in only 2 misses from the floor. On the Suns, Shawn Marion has a team high with 22 points and 11 rebounds.

Surprise of the game

I was surprise about the Suns players because i thought i gonna have a hard time with this team because they have Amare Stoudamire and a Steve Nash and also they have that high field goal that sometimes lead to a big score but on this game they shoot only 43% on the floor and 3/14 from the 3 point line and Mike Miller who has a great game so far has only 2 misses from the floor and only one from the 3 point line(11/13 shooting and 4/5 from the arc) and also the 26 point is a season high for him. But rumors are saying that he will be on the trading block.

Underperformers of the game

Memphis

Damon Stoudamire- 3/9 shooting 10 points. Second game struggling
Rudy Gay- 3/7 shooting.

Suns(3/14 shooting from the arc)

Amare Stoudamire- 17 minutes played, 4/9 shooting 9 points
Raja Bell- 5/15 shooting 1/4 from the arc 11 points
Steve Nash- 9/28 shooting 1/8 from the arc 21 points

Highlights from the game

Thanks for Scoop for teaching me how to resize pic . Hope i resize the photos

Factor for this game

We just have to guard Kobe Bryant and forced him to a jumpshot and do not make Lamar Odom make easy shots.

Hoping for watchers and see you next game

End of any racist discussion.
