Charlotte Bobcats Dynasty

Postby jonmchugh007 on Fri Mar 23, 2007 10:20 am

I have been trying to figure out what team to use and i decided to go with the young and inexperienced Bobcats. They have great potential and their team has a lot of salary cap space.I see a lot of potential in Okefor, Morrison and wallace. Is there a way to develope two players at once or is that not possible? I am 4-5 so far. I just lost a heart breaker to the nuggets. here is my starting lineup.

c - p brezec Bench: C - J Voskuhl
pf - okefor PF - S May
sf - g walace SF - D Anderson
sg - morrison SG - M Corrol
pg - r felton PG - B Knight , Jeff McGinis

This team has great potential and they are a challenge to play with. Playig with the cavs with Leron was just to easy. I think i might try to trade for rookie dan gibson from cleveland. do you guys have any advice for me? any trades that you would sugest me doing? I will keep you all updated as my dynasty progresses. thanks for the input.

Well I have almost complete the first month in my dynasty and I have been doing okay. My current record is 6-7. I won my first game against the Pacers then lost 7 of my next 8 losing to Seattle, Cleveland, Boston, Denver, NO, San Antonio and the Magic. But after that I just came off a good week winning 4 in a row against Dallas (dirk was hurt that might be why i won by ten), then beating Boston, Detroit and Miami.

I am pleased how this team is developing. Okefor seems unstoppable in the paint and I really like Wallace and Morrison along with R Felton. I will update the more I play. Probably later tonight after the Ohio State game.

Currently I am 8th in the Eastern Conference 2.5 games behind the conference leader Washington. Atlanta is a big surprise holding the second spot tied with Boston, Detroit and Indiana and Cleveland trails them by a .5 game with a 7-7 record.

Well I just finished the month of December ending the month with a 5 game winning streak with wins against Utah, Chicago, Dallas (overcame a ten point defecit in the forth surving a last second 3 by Dirk), Washington, and LA (surving a last second 3 by Kobe). I like How my core is developing in Okefor, Wallace, Morrison and Felton. I am currently 26th in the power rankings but my overall record is 16-13. If the playoffs ended today I would be inthe 4th spot in the east playing the Nets. I trail top seeded Detroit by 2 games.

The are one of the suprises of the year so far and hoping to make a strive to the playoffs for the first time since the start of the franchise. There might be some trades along the horizon to improve the team. At this point, we are looking to do anything that can improve our team.

Kbryant24: I sim most of the games. Usuallly I just play the fourth quarter. Its just to much to play. I usually play key machups against top seeds in the league.

According to leauge iniders. The Charlotte Bobcats made a deal with the Chicago Bulls today trading Adam Morrison and their 2007 first round pick for SG Ben Gordon from Chicago. "We feel that this is a great trade for us," Bobcats GM said. "I know we drafted Morrison high in the draft last year but Ben Gordon is an All-Star in this league for many years to come."

hey everybody, sorry it has been so long since i have updated. well i have passed the all star break in my bobcats dynasty and have made some vast changes in my line up and my team is vastly improving. Ben Gordon won the three point shootout. Okefor won the slam dunk contest. I made some major trades. Firstly, I traded AI2 for Paul Pierce. Then i decided to get someone better than him so I traded Paul Pierce and Ramon Felton for Tracy McGrady. I really wanted to kep Felton but I got B. Sura in the McGrady Deal. I also acquired D. Matumbo from Houston in another minor deal. there were no other major deals before the dead line. here is my starting five several games after the dead line:

C - D. Matumbo (or however u spell his name)
PF - Emaka Okefor
SM - Tracy McGrady
SG - Ben Gordon
PG - Brevon Knight / B. Sura.

What do you guys think of my trades so far. Now, it seems like Charlotte is the favorite team to start a dynasty with. I am still simulating a lot of games and playing mostly the 4th quarter with 6 min quarter. I am going to switch to 8 or 9 min quarter to get a better sub rate an higher scores. The last game was against the Suns and in which I played a full game and lost in OT. Ben Gordon had a huge game with 41 points but to all no avail.

More updates to come. I would like to hear what you guys have to say as well!!

Its good that your starting a dynasty with a inexperienced team like bobcats and they have cap for young people that become an all star like A.Morrison. Hope you have a winning % over 40 (Y)
TRACY McGRADY BETTER THAN KOBE BRYANT
