i dont agree with u on the pass blocking. when its at 50, you already get sacked enough. stand in the pocket for 2 or more secs, your sacked. even with Vick.

Hopefully a major bug is fixed in it, like the DE's not getting many tackles/sacks, though recently i played around with the slidrs and it seems fine now on madden 2003, also the OL not getting enough pancakes lol

Took me many tries but I did manage to get it... twice. It's extremely hard without at least two or three lucky breaks because if you keep getting stopped after a few yards, you won't score anything with the time running out. I also found it to be essential that your first rush be a touchdown.

The demo version of Madden is pissing me off. Very hard and stupid controller settings I can't change which make it very hard. So long story, short I'm gonna buy it so I can have the right configurations and have fun playing it.

BTW, does anyone know what difficulty level the demo is?

This is just an "educated" :wink:

guess but it's probably "pro", which is the standard default level in all madden games, just like "starter" in live.

nah u just change the address that the game goes to, to find the music,
its in the game settings, under system then audio...
check out the readme, it tells you how to do it

PLyed 3 games so far, I use the Falcons, and I beat the Texans on Rookie 69 - 42, beat the titans, 48 - 24, and am at half time and beating the Bucs 29 - 13, tomorrow I'll probably try Pro. I also checked the settings for the demo that were in some ini file and it was at all-pro, so that explains it. I also tweaked the sliders a bit. But it's an awesome game, doesn anyone know a) how to convert a live 03 face (My own) to a madden face, and b) where to put it and what to name it etc.

Two more things, where do you access the songs and how do you choose which ones play and whatnot, also how the hell does that instant replay work. I don't understand it at all.

It's even less special than Live's (to my surpirse. I thought Madden was better than Live in every aspect :shock:

well, it's a little thing anyway). They players just walk around raising the roof, showing off their helmets, giving high fives, etc. Not even a cup is brought in for presentation.

Does anyone else here absolutley despise the controller options?

This has made me so pissed off that I start freaking out and getting pissed off after about 2 minutes of playing the game. I hate how when I go to set my rushing right after I've just done passing, the passing changes because all the settings are inter-connected. I can't stand having anything other than R1 or R2 for turbo, this means I can't really use the stiff arm buttons because I'm trying to run fast. This game now is virtually un-playable to me because of all that shit.

i just got madden, i had 2003 and it's pretty similar so i'm not overly impressed, even the after game celebrations are EXACTLY the same, but i was wondering if there were any patch sites for madden that compare to the nlsc, or just any patch sites in general that u guys know about. I love the owner add on along with the preseason training camps i think those are pretty cool, if only live made add ons like these...
