BOSTON CELTICS - RELIVING THE PAST

Boston Celtics GM Danny Ainge has resigned from his duties, and asked the Celtics owner to have him replaced by one of his friends Willy Daniels. Said Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck, "He has 2 years to turn around the Celtics or he's history. Before Ainge said his name,I didn't know a thing about him. The number of things that Ainge has done wrong with this business, You just gotta believe that this time he has to be right :D. But kidding aside, We hope that Daniels has the ideas that will change the course of this franchise. Said Daniels, "Within this one season, I plan to change the makeup of this team. Few Celtics are safe from the deals that I plan to make

The Arenas trade was for my own style because with Pierce, I can't operate as well. With a PG like Arenas, I usually can make a lot of steals in the game, and Etan Thomas is another Style choice because I've tried him out a little, and off the bench, he could push his way in. I threw of Telfair because I didn't want to deal with the future West V.S.
Telfair for the starter spot in the future.

For Gasol, He's another person who helps my style by pounding inside and putting fouls on the opposition. I threw off Jefferson because I want my forwards to have a decent mid touch. When I make a deal, it isn't always about the ratings but more to suit my personal style of play.

As for Johnson and Jackson, In my opinion it's always nice to have shooters of the bench in the way I play

And the reason that the pictures weren't showing up was because my cousin deleted them from PB because he wanted to put up "other" pics, go figure....

Any way, I guess this means I'll have to do new takes

EDIT: I just noticed how my statements about Jefferson and Gasol totally countered my beliefs. The trading for Gasol was also sort of a statement like We're going to the playoffs and we have two guys in and out that are going to make sure of that.

CELTICS DEFEAT HORNETS IN SEASON OPENER 77-63

Image
Even Chris Paul's 36 points and an injury to Delonte West couldn't help the Hornets to victory in this game as 3 new Celtics proved that Daniels mad the right choice in trading for and signing them. The game was shot-for-shot. for every run that one team had, the other had an answer. It seemed as if this game would have turned into a close game, something the Celtics wanted to avoid after dropping West. midway 2nd Quarter. Enter Dermarr Johnson. Johnson made 3 game-changing 3-pointers to put the Celtics up by 10 points. He also had 4 rebounds and 1 steal in the short time that he played. Another acquisition that proved good in this game was former Indiana Pacer Danny Granger who scored 22 points and had 7 rebounds. He dominated the paint in the first Quarter starting strongly with 10 points, drawing 2 charges and putting fouls on David West therefore limiting his playing time. Also, Gilbert Arenas had a good game but sat comfortably in the 4th Quarter with 19 points, 6 steals but only 1 assist and 2 rebounds. Pau Gasol played limited minutes as he showed leg pain in practice. Perkins,Thomas and Gomes all did not suit up for the game with personal reasons. Rookie Eric Gomez made his NBA debut today with 2 points 4 assists and a steal

DELONTE WEST INJURED

After entering barely half a minute into the Celtics/Hornets Season Opener, West was quickly injred. He returned and finished the game later, but after the game was diagnosed with a hyper-extended knee, side-lining him for 9 weeks. This forces the Celtics to go to free agency as West was the only backup next to Arenas.

EDIT: Injury is actually only for 8 weeks

TRYOUTS ENDED, LOPEZ SIGNED

Image

Raul Lopez has been signed to a 1 year minimum contract beating out Penny Hardaway and Eddie Gill. "He totally outshot them, and was the best passer during the tryouts" said coach Doc Rivers, "The only problem that we had with Lopez was that he tires quickly". He is expected to suit up for the Celtics/Pistons game.

Hey, The Celtics/Pistons Game is already done but I don't have time to upload at this time of night because it's already 11 here, so I am just going to reply to

3PK,thanks for the compliment but I don't think you're going to enjoy what you're going to see. You might hate agent zero after what you're going to see

Kyle took your word for it and he made big :D .

PISTONS DOWNED IN EASTERN FACEOFF 88-71

Image

Another all-star guard had a big performance, but again it wasn't enough to take down Gilbert Arenas and his Celtics. Arenas made an amazing 10 steals, totally harassing Pistons Guard Flip Murray who had a big 16 turnovers and only had 13 points. Chauncey Billups was absent for the game for reasons unknown. Richar Hamilton had 30 points, but his teammates couldn't follow him for forwards Pau Gasol and Danny Granger, although both did not score well till late game, put the Pistons frontcourt in foul trouble all the way. Rasheed Wallace only had only 5 points because of his limited time while Tayshaun Prince had 8. only Dale Davis was kept from foul trouble who had 14 points with the start. 3rd Quarter, Arenas, Granger, Green, Johnson and Szczerbiak sat with a comfortable 20 point lead, leading to the Celtic debuts of Forward Etan Thomas, and new signee Raul Lopez. It seemed as if that the Pistons would have been able to catch up to the Celtics, when they had a 10-0 run near the end, but Raul Lopez tore their hearts out with a pair of freethrows and 2 three-pointers, after that, the Pistons were never able to recover. Jim Jackson also had a nice game with 17 points with the extra time that he got.

Thanks, Although there probably would have been a more interesting recap if Billups was there.... for some reason. the AI benched Billups the whole game. I doubt that Billups would have made the same number of TOs that Murray did.

Any way, back to replying to the same people again...

Kyle, True, but he did last long enough( about 2 quarters) and he has about as much stamina as Gerald Green.. That means next year, there is going to be an athletics coach here.

3PK, Hunter is already an FA in the dynasty, the pistons really need a PG... maybe they should hold a tryout as well \

You two seem to be the only ones following this  but I'm not quitting yet :!: I'll try to follow up with the next game l8er but I won't be able to post it until tommorow after noon.

Unfortunately, due to the advanced classes that I'm taking for summer, I'm going to delay this dynasty for about 7 days. Hope that I will be able to continue this in the future
