NBA 2K7 Sim League - Week 8 + Even More Trades!

Mon Apr 09, 2007 4:30 pm

With the 8 player Association feature, I was wondering if any of you were interested in being GM's in it. It is definitely limited, but I can post game results, and simulate the seasons. Here are the details:

- There are 8 available slots for players, with all 30 teams to choose from. If one resigns from a position, the open spot will require the player to use the same team, as you can not change teams. (NOTE: You can however, resign your position and select from a short list of lottery teams.

- You must check in every 1-2 weeks, unless a valid excuse is given. If not, your spot will be available to anyone.

- Since I am the one playing the Association, all trade proposals will be sent to me, and I will roll them past the CPU. Trades between players must have confirmation PM's by both to be validated.

- GM's may sign/release players, and make depth charts. Starting lineups make a difference in team success.

- An 82 game season is played. Weekly scores and recaps posted every 1-2 days. After each game month, standings are posted. After each trimester, League Leaders are also posted.

- Rosters are current, though due to a lack of players in game, some waived players (Eddie Griffin is the only significant one) are still on their teams. The ratings are mine, with retired players not in the game. If you disagree with an overall rating, discuss it with me.

2. Mark - Orlando Magic (8-21)

There are the rosters. Tell me if you want changes to be made regarding the depth chart. If you want, you can create trading blocks. Also, my MSN Messenger is lamrock@hotmail.com and if you are able to talk to me through there, roster movement will go much smoother.

Mon Apr 09, 2007 5:52 pm

Can i have the Suns?

Mon Apr 09, 2007 6:21 pm

Philly thanks

;)

Mon Apr 09, 2007 6:34 pm

Alright! 4 participants already! This is going to be good! Notice that I am frequently updating the first post with Rosters, ratings, contract lengths and the list of players.

BTW, Effekt, I had the Brandon Roy avatar first. I don't want to change it again...

Mon Apr 09, 2007 6:50 pm

ok i want udoka and rodriguez off the injury roster, replaced by LaFrentz and Dickau

i want udoka to start at SF. and LaMarcus Aldridge to start at C

thanks :D

Mon Apr 09, 2007 11:21 pm

Ill take the Heat.

Mon Apr 09, 2007 11:33 pm

Sounds good. If i could get the Cavs it would be great :D

Tue Apr 10, 2007 12:32 am

I'll take the Sixers! Oh wait, they're already taken :(

Tue Apr 10, 2007 2:33 am

I´ll take the Mavs...

Tue Apr 10, 2007 2:58 am

Wow. Already 7 spots taken. Drex, you can't be Philly, but there are still some excellent teams remaining. I'll reserve the final spot if you wish.

Scoop: Depth Chart Changes will be added.

Tue Apr 10, 2007 3:54 am

Give me Denver :P

Tue Apr 10, 2007 4:07 am

Alright, all spaces are filled. Space can be opened however if participants don't check in every once in a while. Rosters are being posted.

Tue Apr 10, 2007 5:13 am

Are we going to post our roster changes here, or pm them to you?

Tue Apr 10, 2007 5:17 am

Whichever is more convenient is fine. With all 8 slots selected, the first week will be simmed in a few hours. I will also have the FA list up soon.

Tue Apr 10, 2007 5:18 am

I will take Warriors and be on the waiting list, if it's ok

Tue Apr 10, 2007 5:20 am

Yeah, you are first on the waiting list. I am sure that one or two people will be inactive/drop out son enough. However, you may not get the Warriors. Your choice will most likely be: Team of player you replace, and 4-5 lottery teams, but the Warriors DO suck, so you have a decent chance.

Tue Apr 10, 2007 1:27 pm

I'll be on waiting list too, w/ Wizards...

Well I decided on a trade while I was talking to Lamrock on MSN. The Sixers traded Joe Smith, Steven Hunter and first round draft pick to Washington for Jamison and Blatche.

It was validated by Lamrock.

Tue Apr 10, 2007 4:33 pm

The game accepted it, and the salaries matched. First trade of the season done.

Tue Apr 10, 2007 5:04 pm

btw, I'm happy with the trade, hopefully Jamison can make the Sixers go to the playoffs...hopefully...
