Sega Sports or EA Sports?

Postby malice_05 on Tue Sep 09, 2003 8:32 am

Too bad SEGA doesn't make CPU games. I gotta stick with EA Sports. Sega should start making games for PC because I am having too many problems with EA Sports games.
What do you guys like better SEGA sports or EA Sports?
This is a Live Forum but I'm sure there are some people who see where I am coming from.

I think its safe to say that SEGA has been outshining EA as far as Live goes since 2K came out.

The only reason i play live(i gotta ps2 and pc as u can tell) is because of freestyle control and i think its more fun. Sega looks hella better and is more like a sim. Dunks are also better and there is a lot of them.

I am starting to dislike EA Sports games. Maybe it's because that's all I can play and they all seem the same every year. Same flaws as well.
One thing is they all are CHEAP in some way.
I just hope NBA,NFL,NHL 2k5 would come for PC or something.
I think EA Sports is like Nike. They are so well known that people buy their products when they come out just because they know the name and probably because they liked previous versions.
If I want to play sports games I guess I'm stuck with EA Sports.

i have a PS2, a computer, and i love NBA live than NBA 2k because, in NBA live, Michael finley and all the players look like Michael finley and all the players

but in sega, NBA 2k, KG,Vinsanity,Jalen Rose,Kenyon martin 's cyberface are the same for those players, so, i prefer bought a beautifull video game than an ugly video game!

For the console, I'll get all three for the x box and of course--NBA Live 2004 for the PC! I will always favor Live for the PC because we can basically do anything we want to the game--and I like that alot.

BTW--2k4's release date has been pushed up to Oct.1

It's going to be a good October, with the season opener to close the month!

I love the fall!

I've always preferred EA Sports games, but to each their own.

im gonna go with sega again this year..and get live later on..
in sega, a charge is when the defender has his feat planted on the floor and has position... not whenever they fall because the offense is runnin..

in NBA live, Michael finley and all the players look like Michael finley and all the players

to me sega is way more accurate when it comes to faces and body models, with a few exceptions.. kobe and kidd. they look like they have beeks.. but most of them look like their real life counter parts...

for me, i couldn't found any other bball games with better graphics than live series.

it's no doubt that the graphics of nba live is the best~

but to be fair, people should focus on the gameplay & other features for comparison ~~

Cause PC is the only way to play, well this question is pretty much moot.

Live all the way...

Haven't anyone notice that all of the players in the 2k series have the same ass like J-lo. EA sports d best in sports games!

I have 2 go wit LIVE and as for 2K i think their court to player ratio is unrealistic. The players on 2K r way to big and the court is to small. Live has a definite better player to court ratio and better game play.
