Poor Griffey, every year he is getting injuried. It's just a reoccuring theme.

Cincinnati
2003
July 17 -- Ruptured right ankle tendon.
April 5-May 15 -- Dislocated right shoulder.


2002
June 24-July 22 -- Strained right hamstring.
April 6-May 25 -- Partial tear of patella tendon in right knee and partially dislocated right kneecap.


2001
April 29-June 15 -- Partial tear of left hamstring.


2000
Sept. 11-end of season -- Partial tear of left hamstring

Griffey is the grant hill of baseball. Keeps on getting injured over and over again.

u got that right...he was gonna be in the hall of fame if he wasn't injured btw he needs 19 more hr to get into 500.. so sad..he did better with Mariners...

Isn't that kinda of strange how Griffey hurt himself on 9/11/00 and then on 9/11/01 The WTC goes down?! Maybe Girffeys Injury made Osama Angry or Osama was a dumbass like he always was.....either way......its pretty much the same to me
