only to find that there was no code included????

i've read a lot of quirky things about this game, what with having to go through steam's website every time you want to play, etc.

it may be the best game for the pc, but i don't think i'll ever know.

ordered the x box version. should be pretty good.

oh well :?

Too true. As soon as I read it I thought it was a load of shit. I mean: why wouldn't you get a refund? Or call up and complain?

If it was true, which I doubt, I would be pissed. Instead of asking for help on an NBA Live forum I would be harassing the place I purchased the goods at so I could get a refund/replacement and some.

you see, i bought this lovely game back in december. i only opened it this past weekend because i could not get to installing it sooner having been caught up with moving and such. i didn't think to open it sooner since it had all the factory seals on it. i thought the contents were fine as usual.

but, you guys are right. it's worth a try to get the money back from amazon marketplace. so that's what i'm attempting to do despite the lengthy time issue.

i've never had this happen before with a factory sealed game. usually, everything is there.

i wrote the post only out of frustration and looking for advice. no other motive.

it wouldn't hurt to try a little kindness next time. perhaps i should have explained my situation more completely at the outset. sorry.

anyway, thank you all for the encouragement. it really helped! :D
