I dont even think it matters if they were friends. Its more the overall thread in itself (responses from members and such). It was as if Riots post gave everyone a free pass to make those kinda comments/jokes which arent really funny after the first one and then after a while it seemed they commented on others groups to kinda make up or balance out to continue those tasteless jokes. I mean, 95% percent of the forum is white, its not funny coming in here and seeing yall having a laugh-it-up party at our expense (considering I'm black as well). No, its not ok.

I know it isn't funny to make jokes about that and all...but all I'm saying is the only person that really really took offense to that thread was Ruff Ryder and maybe Jonas. Stevesanity is partly black. He's the one that was posting all the jokes. So I mean, go figure.

And if it still wasn't clear, I'm not white.

My god, Ruff had me glued to each line there. Really enjoyed that, no matter how controversial. Really wish i could of been around in the long long ago, back when the majority of you 'NLSC elders' were getting along swimmingly. I have a great deal of respect for a few of you, partly because it's always great to read some consistent comments with regards to 'the association'. A shady bunch of characters to say the least, one could imagine how the 'new blood' could fear you lot haha. I don't know, i guess as i have only been here for coming up on two years or so i'm not quite entitled to an opinion regarding the long long ago. But i still really enjoy this place, and the few old guys posting. Guess i'd like to give a shout out/kiss ass to Nick, Ty, dada and ofcourse 'Drew. Whenever i'm skipping through the forums and i see those guy's signatures/avatars, i'm always sure to read their opinions/comments. This place still has some great character, i really should get around to posting more.

Well I never stated otherwise so of course its my opinion. You mention Stevesanity but he is only one person out of the two blacks you listed (unless Jonas is black as well). What is there to be offended about if your group isnt the one mainly being made fun of? If I was on a board dominated by blacks and they were making fun of whites/hispanics/asians with nobody seeming upset/angry/offended that still doesnt make the joke right/acceptable nor does it remove itself from its inherent racist nature. I'm not saying the person stating the jokes are racist, thats a whole other argument, but its just tasteless considering a majority group of whites find it acceptable and think a black person should not have issues with it.

Just a comment on a few quick things...

The linked thread with the racist humor almost pre-dates my existance here. I can assure everybody that things of that nature are not acceptable behavior as long as I'm a moderator.

With reference to TBD, I'll never understand the goodbye thread in general; the entire premise of it all seems stupid to me (when anybody does it -- the whole rap thing just made me laugh a bit here though). But the whole taking shots at others in it makes it even more comical to me. The only interaction I ever recall having with TBD was refusing to separate the music thread. But oh well. One less person here bitching about me, I suppose. I guess I can hinge onto the thought that a ton of the immaturity that plagues the forum and ruins otherwise good times on occasion will eventually fade as people grow up.

I never knew you felt that way about me. I had always liked you, and respected you even. We never really talked a whole lot, but I know I messaged you on yahoo a couple of times and we had a few good chats... or so I thought.

In my opinion, I would believe he is the asshole. His departure parade, and his confidence to insult, demean, attack and slander only once he is out of the picture and no longer posting here is very weak. Why didn't he air these issues earlier. It seems he didn't have the nerve to do so until he was practically out the door.

I had a lot of respect for TBD, but I've lost a hell of a lot of that since his now 'infamous' rap post.

lol, no. I guess I've just changed a bit, my life is really busy right now. I shouldn't even care; I have a lot more important things in my life. I just got accepted into my dream college (UNC) and things have really changed a lot for me.
