Thanks for the comments guys!

Did take your trade advice CMJ. Appreciate the advice.

Lamrock, I coughed up the first because I thought I needed something to balance the trade a little, Maybe I gave too much. But regardless, I've got a very solid youthful core. So I don't really need any more draft prospects with potential when I already have young up and coming players like CV, Bogut, Williams, Ilyasova, Noel, Hodge, Diogu and Markota. So I might of thrown away a middle to late pick, but I got rid of a couple of contracts that were expiring and can now focus on this year instead of building for the future.

News In Brief
MJS 10/11/06

- Bucks PG Mo Williams played last nights game with a bruised knee. While the injury isn't serious, it has restricted movement and is being monitored.
- Michael Redd has played restricted minutes in the last 2 games due to foul trouble. Picking up cheap, early fouls has restricted the Buck's star having an impact on the recent games. He hopes to rectify the problems in the up coming games.
- The home loss against the Rockets has been described as "extremely disappointing" by Bucks GM Ty. He said that without the bench putting up some effort the team would have been greatly humiliated.

Nice to see one 2K7 association updated. You are doing pretty well. I hope your entire starting lineup aside of Bogut doesn't get injured like the real Bucks though. I will update mine soon, since updates are easier with the computer next to the PC. Can't wait for more!

I will throw them up soon. He's doing well when I actually play the games, but is quite inconsistant when I sim the games. I can tell you he is second in all star voting for centre in the East at the moment, behind Ben Wallace.

Game 8:

Bucks Knock Off Hawks At Buzzer

MIL @ ATL14/11/06

Starting Lineups:
MIL
PG - Williams
SG - Redd
SF - Patterson
PF - Villanueva
C - Bogut

ATL
PG - Claxton
SG - Johnson
SF - Smith
PF - S. Williams
C - Wright

Q1:
Bogut opens game with a block followed up with the first basket. Williams shows he is more than a defensive player hitting a couple of shots early. Yet Bogut and Redd appear unstoppable. Slowly Johnson gets going and Smith finds his way to the hole with ease. MIL 25 ATL 26

Q2:
The bucks continue to show little effort at the defensive end of the court. Hawks getting inside too easily and taking advantage. Ilyasova comes off the bench to add 4 quick points, and Redd hits some big shots after being left open at the 3 point line on several occasions. Bogut controlling the teams offensive flow, but Smith, Johnson and Claxton are keeping the Hawks close. MIL 43 ATL 40

Half Time Leaders
MIL
Pts - Bogut 14
Rebs - Bogut 5
Ast - Williams 5

ATL
Pts - Smith 13
Rebs - Williams 5
Ast - Claxton 5

Q3:
Massive block by Gadzuric opens term for the Bucks. Great Job by bench players. Patterson, Gadzuric and Ilyasova play excellent on the defensive end and some great offence. MIL 61 ATL 54

Q4:
Bogut was playing incredibly well, doing everything and anything he wanted in the post. Ersan couldn't miss a shot and the Bucks were looking very comfortable. The Hawks sorely lacked an inside presence, but Johnson put in a solid effort to edge the gap. CV continued to have a disappointing night. The Hawks went on a late 14-4 run to cut the lead to one. Josh Childress seemingly played the hero, giving the Hawks the lead by hitting a 3 with 5.9 seconds left. The Bucks took a time out and Coach Jordan drew up a play. The ball was tossed in Bogut in the post, where he hit Mo Williams who had enough space to put up the 3. It swished through the net for an epic Bucks victory on the road!

FINAL SCORE: Milwaukee 79 Atlanta 77
P.O.G. Bogut

News In Brief
MJS 16/11/06

- Swing positions for the Bucks weaker than usual due to injuries. Marquis Daniels twisted his ankle against NJ, which is meant to set him back for 5 days. While the injury will cause a bit of discomfort, Daniels is expected to play in the upcoming games.
- Hodge also sustained an injury. The 2nd Yr Pro is suffering from an inflamed elbow that he has ascertained in training. He is still able to practice, but will be hampered for up to a fortnight.

Game 11:

Pacers Collapse At Hands Of Bucks Again: CV Triple Double, AB Dominant Inside

MIL @ IND 21/11/06

Starting Lineups:
MIL
PG - Williams
SG - Redd
SF - Patterson
PF - Villanueva
C - Bogut

IND
PG - Tinsley
SG - Boykins
SF - Granger
PF - O'Neal
C - Foster

Q1:
Redd opened the game hitting his first 2 shots from deep, after being left wide open. CV started strong, getting his O going. A clumsy start for Bogut, couple of early turnovers ate away at his confidence and the teams willingness to feed him the ball. CV31 was completely dominant. Tinsley got going for the Pacers to keep them close. MIL 22 IND 20

Q2:
Bogut gets his game going after a rocky start. Redd was his typical high scoring self. Tinsley can't miss, but is seemingly shooting rather than looking for his teammates. Bucks go on a 8-0 run to consolidate lead, but form Buck Boykins help Indiana rally and keep the game a contest. MIL 47 IND 36

Half Time Leaders
MIL
Pts - Redd 14
Rebs - Villanueva 7
Ast - Williams 4

IND
Pts - Tinsley 15
Rebs - Foster 3
Ast - Tinsley 2

Q3:
Bogut started to get to the rim at ease, putting up some nice numbers. Talking about nice numbers, CV was racking up assists and making ground towards a Triple Double. Bucks go on a 13-5 run to blow out competition. Before the end of the term Villanueva gets his first career triple-double.

Q4:
Bucks played the bench for most of the final term, getting a quality performance by Danny G. For the pacers, Boykins was getting inside at ease, but it was far too late for a fairytale comeback. In fact, they barely convinced any fans to remain in the building

FINAL SCORE: Milwaukee 102 Indiana 77
P.O.G. Bogut

Key Players
MIL
Bogut: 22Pts, 7Reb, 3Ast, 1Stl
Villanueva: 12pts, 12Reb, 10Ast
Redd: 22Pts, 2Reb, 2Ast, 1Stl
Gadzuric: 10Pts, 7Reb, 2Ast

IND

Foster: 13pts, 6Reb, 2Ast, 2Stl
Boykins: 18Pts, 2Ast, 4Stl
O'Neal: 7Pts, 8Reb, 4Ast, 3Stl

News In Brief
MJS 21/11/06

- Back-up Centre Dan Gadzuric has suffered a minor elbow injury in the Bucks victory over the Pacers. He will not miss any playing time, but will be hampered for 3 days.
- Bucks GM Ty has raised questions about the Indiana time. In the post game press conference he said that 'the Pacers are playing like a team with chemistry issues. The guards are coming up the court looking to put up shots rather than find open team members. So many times they over-looked O'Neal, for christ sake this guy is one of the premier players in the league but he can barely get a touch.' After 2 big losses to the Bucks, Pacers Gm Larry Bird must be concerned about the team.

Game 14:

Kobe & Odom Teach Bucks A Lesson

MIL @ LAL 28/11/06

Starting Lineups:
MIL
PG - Williams
SG - Redd
SF - Patterson
PF - Villanueva
C - Bogut

LAL
PG - Parker
SG - Bryant
SF - Odom
PF - Radmanovic
C - Mihm

Q1:
Odom and Bryant from the outset were red hot. The Lakers completely dominated early, with Kobe hitting every shot. He had 14pts at 100% from the field. Bogut seemed to be the only Milwaukee player to turn up, playing some decent ball. Coach Jordan made the shift to double Kobe, but it did little to stem the flow. MIL 17 LAL 28

Q2:
Daniels provided a spark off the bench. Bell provided some solid D and Ersan bought some hustle to the floor. Kobe was still unstoppable tough, while the Bucks were challenged by Mihm's solid interior D. MIL 38 LAL 46

Half Time Leaders
MIL
Pts - Bogut 9
Rebs - Villanueva 5
Ast - Redd 3

LAL
Pts - Bryant 18
Rebs - Odom 7
Ast - Bryant 6

Q3:
The point was taken over by Marquis Daniels who played the role very well. Redd finally started to hit shots, which was helped by Daniels getting him open looks. The Bucks drew with 1, even though Kobe was hitting shots at will and dishing out copious amounts of assists. A dominating performance. Bell and Daniel performed brilliantly off the bench, providing much needed defence and scoring. Bogut was very consistent on the offensive end. Mo hit a buzzer beater at the end of the term to cut the lead to 3. MIL 64 LAL 67

Q4:
Lakers start with a run which extended the lead to 8. From there the Bucks never caught up. Diogu put up a solid fight, but Kobe was insane. On the back of Kobe and Lamar the Lakers were far too strong.

FINAL SCORE: Milwaukee 90 Lakers 104

Bucks News

3 Team Blockbuster Shakes Up Bucks
ESPN 03/12/06

Milwaukee has made its second major trade for the season; one that will be considered controversial by fans and commentators alike. The Bucks GM has shipped some young talent away, to gain more youngsters in return. The trade break down as is follows:

MIL
Trades: Mo Williams, Charlie Villanueva, Ruben Patterson
Receives: Devin Harris, Darko Milicic, Trevor Ariza, Dallas' 2007 2nd Round Pick

DAL
Trades: Devin Harris, 2nd Round Pick
Receives: Mo Williams, Orlando's 2007 1st Round Pick

ORL
Trades: Darko Milicic, Trevor Ariza, 1st Round Pick
Receives: Charlie Villanueva, Ruben Patterson

Bucks GM Ty had this to say about the trade: "This swap provides us with players of similar age, talent and potential, but with different facets as their features. While it was tough to give up on Mo and Charlie I believe this move is warranted by the need to toughen up our defence and playmaking skills. Devin is a homegrown player who will provide us a floor general and playmaker. Darko will provide us with a dominant shotblocking presence and sure up our D. Trevor is young defensive player in the mould of Ruben, who can shut down opponents, rebound and slash to the basket."

He added further that "this trade allows Redd and Bogut to be the focal points of our offensive structure, as well as Bobby Simmons when he returns around playoff time. It also gives opportunities for Bell, Ersan, Diogu and Daniels to play extensive minutes."

While the trade will shock the basketball world, its outcome will be known in the future. The Bucks will take on Utah in Salt Lake City tomorrow, where the new players are expected to play. We shall see how effective they are.

UPDATED DEPTH CHART:

C: Bogut - Gadzuric - Milicic - Diogu
PF: Milicic - Diogu - Ilyasova -Markota
SF: Daniels - Ilyasova - Noel - Hodge
SG: Redd - Ariza - Bell -Hodge - Greer
PG: Harris - Bell - Greer - Hodge

Next Update in the next couple of days (Once I get a few responses for my hard work.) I'm quite a few games ahead. There may be another trade on the horizon, as well a 'playoff picture', Bucks stats update and All Star Voting synopsis. Enjoy

Hmm even tho i like Charlie i think you got a good trade, Milicic is a very good shot blocker and rebounder, he will look very good along side Bogut.

Nice Update, the team looks good.

Haha you clearly swiped the table on that one, Patterson is getting old although he can still take it to the hoop. Looking good.

I love that trade, Devin should work out well for you and hopefully Trevor will turn into something special (Y) Its good to see Marquis crack the starting lineup too, keep it up (Y)

Nice dynasty. I'm very glad you have Marquis Daniels in your roster, looks like he got the starting 5 spot after the last trade. I will follow this one (Y)

Thanks for the comments guys. Really appreciate that you spend the time to read my little association.

On a side note, will be another update when I get chance. Uni's starting to get fairly busy plus I picked up Football Manager 2007 so I'm occupied playing that a bit.

I'm quite a few games ahead of what's posted, so I will do a 'catch-up' effort soon, to get what I've actually played up to scratch with what's posted.

That trade looks like it could actually benefit everyone involved. For the Bucks, the only thing is you might need some more outside shooting, but I guess when Simmons comes back, that'll help. Plus, I'm not really familiar with 2K7 player ratings.

Not sure mate. Been playing a little lately, but a different association that I started.

Got holidays after easter, so I will probably pick this one up again then. If I do, I will probably do a brief update to bring it up to date, then continue from there.

Okay guys, here is the story:

There's 3 future options for this association. I have still got the game saved to this point, and info for numerous updates, but I have also simmed ahead to the playoffs and saved it separately. At present, in that save I am up to game 4 of the playoffs. So the options are as follows:

1) Continue from this point and keep working towards the post season from where I left off.

2) Fast forward to the playoffs and use that save to keep you guys up to date

3) Start a whole new association, probably with only 29 games, possibly with a different team and outlook.

Let me know. I will have internet at my place on tuesday, so i can start posting again with ease, and not from uni/work. I'll let you guys decided ,and if you pick option 3 give me ideas of what team (currently would be thinking Utah, Orlando, or Indiana).

Cheers ty
