Dude, if the downloads are provided and it's like 1-2 years old, it's good as gone. Your best bet is to track down the guy that made it or find it from 2007 and ask for it to be converted for 2005, if possible.

If this: http://www.nbaliveforums.com/ftopic45885.php could be converted for 2005, that would kick ass.
