I didn't think Live 2002 was too bad, except for a couple of problems from NBA Live 2001 that remained unresolved. Despite the speed, I think Live 2003 is the superior game - I'm looking forward to NBA Live 2004.

Oh...I don't hate 2002...it had some major flaws but it was okay...I just thought it would be funny to have the only post in the forum say that.

2002 was ok in my books, but the thing is the passing was ridiculous.. if you compare the stealing to this years live you can see the huge difference.. before you could just keep hittin the steal button and the ball would come loose.. but in 05 you gotta be in the right position to steal it.. i'd probably give 02 a 6.5/10.
Preparation will only take you so far. After that you've got to take a few leaps of faith.

How strange those words seem now, though at the time there were elements of NBA Live 2003 I liked a lot more than NBA Live 2002.

Wow, posting in this forum makes me feel lonely. I thought 2003 was pretty fun when it came out, but then I realized how cartoonish it is.

i bought it last summer for a huge amount of 1.99 at EB. the Practice court is damn good though, just like 2001's but different.

I actually have some expectations. Maybe it's the ultimate game, between 2001's realism and 2003 arcadeism... who knows. Maybe I'll even give it a mini-review

You mean practice court? Or 1 on 1 court. Or both?

So it has practice mode as well? 2001 didn't... sounds promising.

2001 has practice mode in the PC version at least.

Nope :D Unless my game is corrupted.

@Andrew, I'll just have wait and see. I'll have my hands crossed that it hasn't one big major issue that has been a habit for EA for the last couple of years.

if I remember correctly, they did have a one on one mode on the outside playground court, but i don't think they had a practice mode on that court.

Played this game for a couple of hours straight, if you like 2001 this is fun too, kind of like in the middle of 2001 and 2003. Lots of good things in this game that EA dissed for 2003. Bad things are rebounding and the blue replay screen, ugh.

But the between the legs dunk  whoa.
