Coaches and tattoo's aren't really my thing, but I can of course try. Like I said, jerseys will be done, and I was planning on doing the all-star weekend once I hear back from looser.

The court updates I used (with permission) weren't exactly conversions. They were simply court patches with all the files taken out that caused problems. They were just the court files, no backboard files or stadium files, etc.

They still look nice in game though.

Yeah, Flite did the COURTS, but not the STADIUM. The Stadium do need to be updated. The Bucks stadium still has the purple logo all over.

If stadium updates could be done, that would be rad.

Jao, maybe you could try to contact RSox and ask him how he did the tattoos.

alright, so it sounds like you got the roster update rolling so I won't interfere with that (aka, converting the players.dbf was very easy, but the appearance.dbf's are too different for me to try and convert)

and in case someone wants the new all-star court. Just download Looser's here

I remember someone in 2007 released patches updating a player's gear. For instance, giving VC the white left arm sleeve, other players various arm/leg bands. Is it possible to convert that for 2005?

I have a little problem with one court , as you can see all the rim and the support looks pink.



Do you have any idea of how to fix that ??

07's are a little more refined and look a little better. The jerseys still "bend" around the knee and dont poke through like in 06/07. Also looser did give me permission so I will convert his all star court later today.

As for that backboard issue, just go into your sgsm and delete everything that says "pracbbd" in it. That will fix your issue for now, Ill hopefully find a good fix for custom backboards later.

The neck stuff give a little gap that you see when it is zoomed in i think you should not include the vneck tneck and neck stuff from 07. . .

also Andrew gave permission to use his roster update so if you guys wanted to use his players.dbf as a base go for it

I´ve downloaded the Player Model Update , but I can´t see any change in the players... they are just the same as before I installed the patch...

JOASMING...nice work man. when is the 05 version of Andres 07 roster coming out? How are you actually doing this anyway?...is there a way to copy and paste all the ratings somehow or are you doing all the tweaks manually 1 by 1?

Is there anything I can look at or check to make sure the change actually took place?

Like when you install a new jersey, you check to see if the old jersey is gone with the new one in its place. How can I "check" to see if the new player models have taken effect?

make sure your settings are on max. The change shouldn't be too dramatic since 05 had good player models to begin with.

As with andrews roster, the players.dbf converted fine, im having issues with the appearance.dbf. Ill put more time into it this weekend.

i really dont want to do the roster, im going to try but it wont be done soon mainly because it will require CF updates and accessories as well.

I haven't gotten in contact with c0n lately, but when I do, that is the first thing im working on. I am also actively working on a new lighting for this game.

But remember, I am also doing SUM07 and Street 07, so after i do jerseys and the lighting I need to put some more time in those mods.


Anyone know how up to date frenchy's or whoever's mod is? I might just load that up, update the players.dbf with andrews ratings and teams then call it a day. With permission of course.

i was thinking of doing that like 3 months ago but fshx crashed wen i did it. I was gunna use the 06 skin files.

I will do some patches but i am tied up with skool.

Jao, I have downloaded pretty much all of the patches for 2005 into Frenchy's sgsm. From MY game, here's what's missing or needed:

-Coaches. The coaches are completely messed up and need to be fixed. Any way you can open up coaches from 2007, convert it, and place it into 2005? I know coaches are a minor thing, but it would be nice for this to be updated.

-Roster. While roster transactions are updated, ratings are the most important thing that need to be updated. Guys like Monta Ellis, David Lee, and Deron Williams SUCK in the game. Their ratings need to be upped while other guys' (Shaq and etc) ratings need to be lowered a little.

-All Star Weekend. Barely anything is updated here for me. I have the Las Vegas Court and the Las Vegas moneyball, but not much else. The All Star Rosters need to be updated (I think that's within the roster) and anything removing Denver All Star Graphics and puttin LV in its place would be good.

-Jerseys. I know you said you're already doing this, but just putting it on the list of needs. Also, if jerseys could be updated to "2006-2007" instead of "2004-2005," iwhen you select the jerseys before a game, it would be great. Also, if some old alternates could be put in, that would be nice. For example, the grey Nets alternate.

-Team gear. Someone in 2007 has been updating players' gear. If that can be converted for 2005, that would be nice so everyone will have their correct gear.

-Tattoos. RSox converted a lot of them, but there's still some more that need to be converted. I know you said you really don't do tattoos, but maybe someone else can convert them.

-Cyberfaces. I would say a good amount of them are already in 2005. But there's some that need to be converted for 2005. Robert Swift, Adam Morrison, Marquis Daniels, to name a few.

That's all I can think of for now.

Coaches are part of the roster. These will be fixed when I release my roster.

Again, every single player is being completely re-rated (minus Legends/International teams). The ratings so far have been extremely realistic and for the first time I have had Dyansty Mode producing good 6th men, eg. Morris Peterson averaged 14 off the bench in one of my test seasons, while Anthony Parker, the starter, averaged just 11. I assure you I'm trying to get through this as quick as possibly without sacrificing quality. If you can't hold out, I suggest you re-rate those players that need it.

Loosers 07 court + Jao's stadium updates will remove all the Denver Logos in game. The other logos can be replaced, but there are some things you can't do, like have Marv Albert say "Thomas and Mack Center" at the beginning. Other than that, the animated logo that shows when you enter All Star Weekend Mode is probably impossible to replace with an animated 07 one, but you could replace it with a sill 07 logo, which I would do.

Jao is converting c0nr4ds jerseys, so the art is taken care of. The jersey years are part of the roster file. I will update these along with everything else in my roster.

If its just an appearance.dbf file, I suppose it could be converted pretty easily.

I suggest you learn how to convert tattoos yourself, as tattoos, accessories and shoes, etc are not exactly must-have patches. They are just minor details that some people like to have, so I don't see anyone else converting them for you now that RSox is gone. I havn't tried myself, and have just reformatted my computer so I can't try right now, but I suspect they need no converting and will work when just placed in the SGSM folder. I suggest you try it.

No converting is needed. Just chuck ONLY the fsh files in the SGSM (sometimes when a player has a hair shape, it doesn't show up. To fix this problem open up the cyberface and export the image, then just reimport it and save - problem solved). Also, I am in the process of converting the headshapes of all the 05/06 and 06/07 rookies so they look far more realistic (plus a few stars that need to be updated). That mean that when you see a preview of, for example, an 07 cyberface of Adam Morrison, when you download the patch and put it in your Live 05 SGSM and heck him out ingame, he will look exactly like in the preview (minus the hair shape, as far as I know I can't convert them). Any CF from the 06 and 07 announcement sections you can have, no converting needed (just remember, FSH files ONLY).

Sorry for the huge ass post in your thread Jao, but I just wanted to make sure everyone understood what is being done and what can be done.
