the game was quite dissapointing for Canada...Burret was not in his 30 ppg day...and the Argentina killed them with threes and good ball movement...i watch it on Sportsnet and i think the stats are not out yet...Canada lost by 21...so they're playing Purto Rico tomorrow since there is no way for US to lose...

Well, what can I say? I started watching midway through the second quarter (Canada down by 16) and left in dismay midway through the third quarter (Canada down by 31). It just seemed Argentina played much more confidently and with more motivation than Canada. We were allowing way too many penetrations/offensive boards and didn't get it done on either end of the court. I think they should have benched Steve Nash earlier :? to save up for tomorrow's game.

I'm highly disappointed but still hopeful that they'll be able to knock off Puerto Rico. I think the whole team will play with new zest tomorrow.
