I was browsing around the discount bins at Sanity yesterday, and managed to score 5 albums for $15 or less.. When i got home i realised the silly bitch charged me $15 for one that was $10, but meh.. Anyways, what i got was:

*Kasabian (Self Titled)
Pretty good what ive listened to so far, i like the first 3 tracks especially.. This was the one that was supposed to be $10, so i thought i'd pick it up because i keep hearing good things..

*The Butterfly Effect (Self Titled)
Once again, heard good things so i picked it up.. Havent listened to this one much yet, but i am really liking the first song on it..

*The Pixies (Best Of)
Cost me $15 bucks, which was a nice surprise considering it had a sticker for $35.. Pixies are a great band, and its a great CD

*Kings Of Leon (Aha Shake Heartbreak)
I picked this one up because i like the song 'Taper Jean Girl' which is on this album.. Really like it so far, and im a big fan of Garage Rock, so ill have this one playing for a little while too.. Also came with a second disc of Live tracks from one of there concerts which is cool..

*Garbage (Bleed Like Me)
Haven't listened to it at all yet, but im a big Garbage fan, so i couldnt leave Shirley sitting in a discount bin :P

Anyways, i was wondering if any of you knew of any good music forums for Rock/Alternative/Indie etc?

[i]Edit: I also found a Crusty Demons: Unleash Hell compilation CD.. Its a 2 disc of mostly rock and roll with a bit of punk, but i saw it has Coheed and Cambria.. Ive heard heaps of good things from them, and you guys were talking about them earlier, so i thought id mention that their song on this CD is pretty sweet..

John Legend's coming to my school. I bought tickets on Friday morning. Not as bad as the line for Kanye West last year, but it still took me 2 hrs to get to the front of the line.

I bought 2 tickets at $47.50 each. I have no idea who I am going to take with me.

I think for kanye last year I paid like $56. And I did bring a hot girl last time. too bad I saw her in line for John Legend this time, so I'm shit outta luck

Drama, if you live in So Cal (for some reason I think you do), I'm sure u can get out to a show... he's playing with Corinne Bailey Ray at UC Irvine and the Gibson Ampitheater up in LA.

So saw Red Hot Chili Peppers with Gnarls Barkley tonight

Gnarls Barkley won me over...how? wearing "school of rock" outfits and singing Another Brick in the Wall as their first song. I didnt even care i couldnt understand a damn thing cee-lo said the rest of the show.

As for RHCP...John Frusciante and Flea are fucking godlike in status. They played a 2 hour set, barely stopping. Kiedis and Chad would both take breaks while Flea and Frusc would have bass vs. guitar battles. It was fucking amazing. Had a really good start with Cant Stop and Dani California and i lost track from there. Frusciante also was sending chills up my spine with his guitar. Oh yeah, and Chad is alot better than i usually give him credit for, he had a couple solos that won me over. Anyway, amazing show but out of curiosity does anyone know why they would not sing Under the Bridge or Other Side? I mean i know its boring playing the same songs over and over...but those are my 2 favoirtes and neither was in the setlist so i was curious if there was a reason behind it (too painful for anthony or something since they're both about his addiction)

Payed $900 for two peppers tickets, what can i say i was desperate. Really looking forward to seeing them, John in particular. One of the 'better' recovery stories be his. Cable, i'm hoping the new Rush album rocks! To this day Caress Of Steal sits close to the top of my all time fav albums. the epic 2112 is bloody amazing also. By any chance, did you end up hearing any Wishbone?

Not sure what you mean by Wishbone ...

2112 has to be one of the best albums ever made. Simply stunning, even to a non-fan. (Y)

EDIT: So I had a listen ... I could see myself listening to that. It didn't jump out at me, but I like it. (Y)

I've never really got into that song until I saw the music video  Iunno, but I guess it's just me, because sometimes after watching the music video, I like the music alot more.

Other Jeezy songs that are worth a listen or two:

Grey Goose w/ Yo Gotti and All-Star, I'm the Realest, You Know What It Is, and And Then What w/ Mannie Fresh

EDIT:

Can't help but notice, but when I loaded up my browser and saw this pic on Yahoo. This man bears a strong resemblance to Curtis Jackson (a.k.a 50 Cent), maybe this is how Fifty will look when he's 50? (Pun intended :P , and that's if he survives till 50)

I'll buy it, this time I don't make the mistake getting leaked songs, for some albums the tracklistings have been incorrect. And this mixtape will be playing til the album drops :D

Bought Red Gone Wild today, I had refused to dload it and this album is well worth the wait, it sounds very well thought out, the beats are great, and Redman is being himself, as always. Must have.

Funny moment, the radio interviewer guy this time pulls the gun  mad funny.
