NBA 99 Last Decade Patch??

Postby MrGrinch33 on Sun Nov 24, 2002 7:39 pm

Does anybody still have Ian Nowland's Last Decade roster patch for NBA Live 99? Or failing that, does anybody know how to contact him to see if he still has it?

On a side note, I've got a nice little archive of NBA 99 stuff that I've slowly aquired...if it takes a trade, I'll do that too. :)

I've checked my archive, I can't seem to find it. If I can find it, I'll upload it to the NLSC's Downloads section.

No. Believe me, if I find it I'll post it, but I don't think I've got it anywhere - I've checked all my folders and backup CDs.

I guess it's ok. Right now I'm just looking for a working Seattle Super Sonics jersey patch and an Atlanta Hawks jersey patch. The ones I've found don't work.

Seems most of the NBA Live 99 patches have been lost. Many of them were hosted on websites that have been discontinued and have been deleted by the host. Or in the case of websites hosted by Xoom, the host simply shut down.

Please don't bump old threads. I doubt he wants it several months after he asked for it.

That's 2 moronic mistakes you've made so far. How about you start acting like a normal member of the community and obey the rules and general undertakings.

this is an old live section and people who posts here are looking for some stuff that are old, as a matter of fact they look for those files for months and probably years, I still get emails asking for files years after I retired updating rosters but my appologies for trying to help, plus I didn't see you complaining when others bumped on this "old" thread.

How about you start acting like a normal member of the community and obey the rules and general undertakings.

rules are for everyone including mods and as far I'm concern you've been offending & calling names to other members, rules for mods where set as well and give no license to do that.

Code: Select all
...Follow the rules and set a good example...

Oh, start acting like a normal member? same to you.
I'm trying to help others get what they want, I'm not spamming, it just happens that the post is old but go and ask if he already has the file, he's probably still looking for it so I don't see what's the damage I'm doing to you especially by posting on this section, geez. what a bastard.

Calling other people names. Sounds like primary school. Are you going to tell me to 'stop it' too or you will tell.

I don't see it as calling other people names, I see it is making judgements on other peoples behaviour. You brought up 2 old threads in a matter of minutes. I think that is stupid.

The example I am setting is that all people I find, in the areas of the forum I moderate, who bump old threads will be discouraged to do so. If they continue to do so then a further measure will be taken. I do this as consistently as possible to make the forum and community run smoother.

I never stated you were spamming, so i don't know where you got that from. You even acknowledge the fact that this post is 'old', hence my contention to persuade you to act like a normal member is in the hope you will fail to bump such threads in the future i.e. behave like most members of the fourm do.

If that isn't setting a good example then we must be thinking of conflicting concepts.

Be the best you can be, if that's all from you, ok.

I don't see it as calling other people names, I see it is making judgements on other peoples behaviour. You brought up 2 old threads in a matter of minutes. I think that is stupid.

so go ahead and close this section, cause people post here and you don't see another post til months later for you to think replying to these posts are stupid. Most of these members (posting here) still play old games, knowing they are not many, you won't see so many threads but replying posts that tend to be months old and years old.

I never stated you were spamming, so i don't know where you got that from.

well, you mentioned I supposedly have made mistakes posting like I'm spamming or something, and even after this you mentioned posting 2 times in a matter of minutes looks stupid to you.

You even acknowledge the fact that this post is 'old', hence my contention to persuade you to act like a normal member is in the hope you will fail to bump such threads in the future i.e....

mentioning this is the old live section was the main reason why you should realize posts are months old and there's nothing wrong with replying to those cause people do look for those patches for months and years.

The forum should run smoother in the most active sections but this section runs slow, people do post after months from the previous post and I'm not doing it to bother you but to help. If I think I can help anyone here to find a patch they have requested, I just claim I have it and there's no need to create a new thread to let them know so and make "the section run smoother."
