There used to be a time when a regular game would spawn 20-30 replies just regarding that game. How times change, no?

Commendable that you're still carrying tradition Dada, the time change pretty much fucked it up for me, at 3 a.m. (usual time of the games that are shown to us), you hardly want to keep updating yourself on a message board.

So true, kinda depressing actually but I cant really do much about it. Lakers looking to loe this game as well which is even more depressing. Every since the earlier post I made there seems to be a weak call on each possession. Really disrupted the flow of the game.

Yup. because of off topic posts like this.

Anyway, back to the topic of the thread... I'm still hoping the lakers can finish with a 45~50 win season. A couple of good trades and development of their young big men, and the lakers will be serious contenders again... :D

well, it's possible if NJ is interested in their expiring contracts of Mihm & McKie. They'd probably want some young guys too so Bynum & Farmar would probably go in the trade too

I say a couple expiring contracts and Farmar/Brown for Kidd/filler. No Bynum.

Well time for the Lakers game boys. I imagine it would be nice if we could get a chat going during the game but it seems alot to ask these days. Ah well, its a school night for the lot of you anyways.

Kobe has been trying to facilitate but it seems the other starters on the team cant make a single shot, esp. LO. The second unit played very well tho, Ronny is helping on both ends and Sasha is actually making his shots again.

Man I hate doing this but every game I am forced to. The ref blows an offensive foul call on Curry which gave them the lead under a minute and now LA is down with 7 seconds to go.

edit: LA loses. Its seems in every sport you get poor officiating these days. :shake: That last shot should have been executed alot better without Odom just dribbling around looking lost and throwing up some random low percentage shot. Simply frustrating man, if its Odom then give me something inside.

Why does every close game these days become decided by a bad call?

Kobe was supposedly a decoy on the last play, but Odom was very clueless with the ball, said Marbury played him good. ITS MARBURY FOR PETE'S SAKE!

my roommate is hating on Lamar for not passing to kobe, but they obviously were trying to deny him the ball... what do you want him to do? force it to Kobe and possibly turn it over? or get a shot at the basket and a shot at winning?

The Lakers drop another one to the Blazers.
This is when you miss Kwame Brown, Ronny has heart, but he really isnt strong and skilled enough to defend the likes of Zach Randolph. And the ankles. There's what, a 9-man rotation for the Lakers? I'm sure Williams and Mckie won't be feeling so good still warming the bench in these games. And smush can steal, but he cant defend. Right now the Lakers really need Luke and Brown back to help anchor the offence and defence respectively. If these two are back and the team can sign a guard who can defend and consistantly hit the open three, I still think they have a chance of advancing to the second round in the playoffs, regardless of the seeding.

I really think your right. They do need Brown and Walton back really quickly. And I do hope they can deal for a good 3-point shooter.

Tonight time for the game with the Boston Celtics. It's really a game where we can turn around things after losing some games. Boston is obvious one of the worst teams in the NBA right now. If they'll lose there in big trouble.
