I really am leaving this time.

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Old School an obvious blatant sarcastic comment at the recent rash of respected members saying basically to quote dane Cook "fuck this game" to this forum. I dont know what is causing this or what the problem is because i havent been here long. It was a joke, something i think a guy with a location of calipornia would be able to understand.....

Didn't feel like it needed its own thread but I'm leaving as well.
Personal situation and the NBA Live series going downhill.
I want to thank all the members who've made it a fun time posting and reading here and I wish Andrew the best with this site.

Peace.

You actually deserved your own thread opposed to some other known drama queens.

In any case, another solid poster bites the dust. Despite having some different views on different situations and all, I respect you as a member and I wish you the best with everything. I can't say Live will get better, but believe me when I say Life will. Since you do live in Holland, I'll go to the lengths of saying this much, if you need an extra friend, you'll be able to find me.

Here's a (B) to you Cyriel, all the best with everything & I hope before I'm dead and have actually left this place, you make a...if not long, brief comeback. :)

What's up with everyone going? Sad to see you go dude, you'll be missed. :(

I have to ask, are there any hints of the forum shutting down at all? I don't visit the Live sections, are they still going strong?

I kinda get that strange feeling as well that this forum may be in its final legs but I hope thats not the case. I surely hope Andrew doesnt make any huge announcements anytime soon although if he did it would be completely understandable in many ways.

Not a good day when another quality poster calls it quits.

Another sad loss. All the best for the future and know that you're always welcome back.

No chance of the forum doing anything of the sort. Everything is just kind of going through a stage of transition. Older posters are leaving, allowing newer posters to potentially step up. It's like a generation change, a sort of changing of the guard. It hasn't been helped by the pathetic products released by EA of late, but the patching community is doing their best to fix those.

As sad it is to see CK leave, and a great loss it is, I think everybody has to be less 'gloom and doom' about the future and a little more optimistic. Of course the forum is going through a rough patch, but it was going to eventually. We all aren't going to be posting here for the rest of our lives. Heck, most of us won't even post here for 10% of our lives. People will come and go, some key personalities and figures included. And while these losses will be difficult to overcome, it doesn't mean the end is near.

What's with people feeling the need to "say goodbye"? It's rare for anyone to ever permanently stay away. I'm busy all the time irl, and really have very little time to post here, but I occasionally drop by and find the time to post a time or two. A chore? Perhaps moderating is a chore, but it's one you volunteered to do. I don't see how posting a few times, or browsing the forums once every day or two is much of a challenge, but then again, maybe that's why everyone does come back despite their best efforts to stay away.

The live series does suck, but then again, I rarely to never post here about it anyway. Sucks to see you two go, but I know you'll be back for the aforementioned reasons. Unless something life altering is happening in your lives, it's just too easy to come back here and post, and without a really good reason for leaving, I think you'll both be back before too long.

That sucks, another good guy gone.

Have fun doing whatever your doing, and be sure to catch a few Texas games with that CBS pass thing.

Come to think of it, I'm bored. I'm gonna be gone for a while, nothing permanent, but this place just doesn't have that same factor to it that it used to (even when I first signed up). Sorry to hijack your hijacked thread CK

For the record, there are absolutely no plans to shut down the site or forum.
