That's fine...

It's alright with me if the Colts win...

It is my Home State...

I just like the Bears a bit better...

Bob Sanders is a safety, for one thing, and he had 2 solo tackles against the Chiefs. It's safe to say his return had no correlation the resurgence of the Indy rush defense, though he did play well against the inept Ravens offense.

EXACTLY. This is what I've been telling all my friends all week. They stuffed the box against the Chiefs. Steve McNair and the Ravens' offense has been overrated all season, and the Pats might have won had Caldwell not dropped so many crucial passes.

Grossman may blow chunks, but one thing he knows how to do is bomb it to Berrian. The Colts won't get away with putting 8 in the box against the Bears.

The only way I see the Bears losing is if Grossman has one of his famous meltdowns...and if he hasn't had one so far in these playoffs, I don't see why he would have one against the Colts.

Sorry to all colts fans but i have this to say and this only

DA BEARS DA BEARS DA BEARS.....now to eat a polish

anyway, I'm an NFC south man so i was pulling for the saints last week...when they went down, i gotta start pulling for the illinois team. I like grossman alot, watched him at florida, and Muhsin Muhammad will always be one of my favorite players. I'm looking at this game and see one of three things happening.

1. The bears D decided to not show up (like the second half of the season); Peyton dominates-Colts win 38-9
2. The bears D shows up and the best passer in the game gets frustrated and starts to make mistakes...Peyton throws some INTs that get returned resulting in a score. Bears win-21-17
3. Rex grossman (being a rookie for almost all intents and purposes due to injury) throws a bunch of INTs, colts capitalize and win; Colts 28-27

Yes these are all completely made up and reflect the views of no one but myself. This game will come down to whose D shows up. The bears cant outscore the colts, but they can win if they have their D clicking.

The colts will most likely win, and I think the score will be about 24-16. The colts offense is great as everyone knows, but with Dominic Rhodes and Joseph Addai they have added a new demension to their game. Not just a run game, but a power running game. I think the bears will have to choose one to commit too. Either the pass or the run, the colts will determine early on in the game what the Bears are focussing on, and the Colts will go to the opposite. I have a feeling the Bears will try to defend the pass which will lead to a big game by Addai maybe he'll eve rack up well over 100 yards. But regardless of the number of yards he gets the runs will mean something either short TD's or crucial first downs Addai can be the difference maker. The Bears offensively have nothing really to work with, besides Muhammed and Thomas Jones (scrub). Grossman also sucks dick so the colts should have a field day with their pass defense. The only way the Bears can win is if their special teams come through which Nate Vasher has shown they can show up. The chances of that happening are slim so, basically the Colts are gonna run shit and be the champions

I think the bears secondary is actually the weak point of the D if there is one. Peyton needs to attack them early and often. Once they get discouraged, he'll be throwing into triple coverage no problem. Although he needs to beware of Ricky Manning, the bears are definitely scarier in their front 7 or so

I'm more confident at this point then I've been so far.

I think the Colts need to do 3 things to win.

1.) Control the field position game. Don't let Maynard hurt us, he's been great all season. Let's not have to start drives from our own 5-15 yard line. Obviously control Hester. Don't even give him a chance to get something going for them.

2.) Establish the run early and often. If Joe Addai and Nic Rhodes get started, the Bears are going to be in for a long day. I have no doubts Peyton will be able to pick apart the Bears secondary all day long. If we establish the run, then we'll score 30, the Bears won't be able to match that.

3.) Either match the Bears in turnovers or have less. If the Bears turn the ball over once, the Colts are allowed 1 turnover. 2 Bears turnovers = 2 Colts turnovers, etc. I think if the turnover game is even, the Colts win.

I think we'll be able to do enough to win. My heart says 31-13 Colts, but my brain says it will probably be closer. 27-20 is a pretty likely final I think.

I'm going to say the score will be 17-13 Colts. I always pick scores too high so I'm gonna pick low this time. The Bears defense is very good and I believe they will force a lot of turnovers. But I think the difference in this game will be Peyton Manning, who I think will lead his team to victory.

If the Bears force a lot of turnovers the Colts will have no chance of winning this game. The longer the Colts offense is on the sideline the more pounding their defense is taking. And honestly I don't think the Colts defense is physically ready to spend more time on the field than their offense. Although I don't see that happening that is a possibility.

Of course that was a week ago....not that this means anything...but after losing to the colts and beating the bears online in madden....im thinking indy has a chance in this one. Its about time manning gets a chance to shine.

Did you guys hear about Marvin Harrison being a bitch. He is complaining about not getting the ball in the post season. But that is due to teams recognizing he is a threat and double teaming him. It is also a smart move by Manning becuase he does not risk throwing into double coverage. I don't see how Marvin can be so quiet all the time and now complain when his team is doing the smart thing.

He didn't say that. He said that teams are double covering him which is leading the the Colts winning football games and that's all that's important.

I don't know how that makes him a bitch...

No I'm a Colts fan don't get it twisted, but Marvins always so silent and then all of a sudden on ESPN they're like Marvin Harrison wants to get the ball more. Then they interview him and he seems all mad. But yeah the Colts have a lot more recievers than him they can throw too so the more they double Marvin, the more TD's for Dallas Clark  .

Go Colts.

They will win, they run a cover 2 and will be able to shut down Berrian down the field (Grossman mistake waiting to happen).

i'm rooting for a good game...if Indy blows the bears out and it's 31-3 at the half the tv is going off

maybe that's a good thing...no prince  ...couldn't they have gotten a better halftime act than PRINCE? Put Jay-Z up there or something , but not an old star from the 80's.

Prince came out with musicology that sold really well a couple years back. And they've been trying older acts ever since the janet fiasco in order to make sure it stays "family friendly" however prince might not be the best idea for that....

agreed...i liked the last 2 halftime shows with "old-school" music talent such as McCartney and the Rolling Stones...but Prince?

maybe they should put Mellencamp on and have him sing "Our Country" for the 1000000th time...then "Small Town" , "Rock in the USA" and "Jack and Diane"

Thats just crazy. Devin Hester is such a special playr, I remember him killing it at UM and thought maybe it was a fluke but the way he has played this year surely proves me wrong. Colts with a turnover and Chicago looking to score.
