Shannon's Gallery - Pro Wall

Just to let everyone know, he decided against having him on the cover and got me to change it up. Eventually we agreed on a design and I have just been adding to it over time, and he said he wants to use it for the album. Right now it looks like this:

Front Cover:

Back Cover + Insert Thing:

After that, he asked me if I could design him a logo and I said I would try. It was way harder than I thought, and I went through like 12 or 13 designs before he saw something he liked. As CK said on MSN, its tough to make a logo look dynamic using a symbol in this case, because you can't really create an image of "pro". Eventually I came up with this and he was really happy with it:

So yeah, even though I actually liked the other cover better different people see things in different ways and I gotta say working on this (and continuing working on it) was a lot of fun and gave me some valuable experience. I really didn't think it was gonna go any further than a "I like it, but..." so I'm really happy with how everything went.

I got bored tonight and couldn't sleep so I had a play round on photoshop and came up with this:

I don't know why, but I really like it. I wanna make a bigger version as a wallpaper if I can find a bigger pic of Nas.

Never bevel a player like you did with Wade. NEVER!

Don't push it with the outer glow - like you did with that footballer.

Blend the images more and put some pic effects.

Heres my next sig, I'm trying to do the 'grunge' effect that I tend to shy away from. I like it, and I know there will be comments about not liking the text but I actually love it.

I couldn't be bothered resizing and making a thumbnail to make it look pretty, just click to see proper size. Its a wall of one of my favorite college basketball players, Georgetown's Dajuan Summers. It was damn near impossible to find a decent size pic of him.

Wow dude I haven't seen that DaJuan Summers wall yet and let me tell you it is top notch. I really like your style. He is one of my favorite lesser known college players, along with Earl Clark from Louisville. Summers has a ton of potential. Great job with all of your graphics.

hammertime, yeah, I actually made him one of those logos players have stitched on headbands/shoes/socks etc too. He should be a lottery pick with Jeff gone next year.

It's nothing great, but I think it looks alright. Clean and simple. (its in the background of the wall)

I sent it to him too before I made that wall and he liked it, said he was gonna get that wall printed out and maybe get the logo put on an armband or something, so that was pretty cool. Fuck I'm a stalker :lol:
