King James decides game @ATL !
Cleveland Cavaliers 110 , Atlanta Hawks 109

Atlanta, Dec. 1st(AP) -- "King James" scores 41, adds 5 assists and 4 rebounds for a road win over the Hawks.

"I do not care, it was the media, the "experts" who were claiming that there is no "King James" anymore. Today I think I showed quite the opposite. I do everything the team needs to win and I do not give anything about stats. This time we needed big time scoring. Hello, here I am", LeBron James said after maybe his first really spectacular game this season. The Cavs are very successfull but the experts and the media did not like the way the Cavs played. Why? Their praised "Next Jordan" did not play like MJ. More like Scottie. Today Mr. James did what Jordan did regularly. Scoring 40+. Dominating the game. Being unstoppable. And yes, also hitting "The Shot".
LeBron James knew that it would be kind of embarrasing to loose against the Atlanta Hawks even with him scoring 39 points. So he decided to make something happen with 0:09 left on the clock. Inbound pass by the Cavs, but they are down by 1 point. It was again Joe Johnson who carried his Hawks and hit the jumpshot just the possesion before. LeBron inbounds it to Eric Snow. he gives it back and James makes a little jab step, gets rid of Josh Smith, 5 seconds to go. He drives through the lane and finishes with a sweet layin past Zaza Pachulia giving the Cavs a 1 point lead and the Hawks who had no timeout left, only 2 seconds to react. No chance for a basket and now you can say LeBron is still able to do it. "Well, that is just LeBron James. I don´t know why there are so many people complaining. The Cavs are the best team of the league and when it comes to getting tight they have him to decide the game. I thought we played really well but at the end that does not count unfortunately", Joe Johnson said later. He had 14 points and 5 assists to counter James´ 15 points and 5 dimes after the first half when the Cavs were down by 2. Eric Snow was also a big factor scoring 12 of his 20 in those two quarters. Josh Smith had a very good game and helped the Hawks to stay in the game despite the big performance by Mr. James. At the beginning of the 4th quarter the Cavs led by 4 points but both teams were on fire and no one could really built a bigger lead. With 0:50 left Joe Johnson hit a three to bring the Hawks within 1 point and then after a steal of Speedy Claxton hit the jumper to give the Cavs those 10 seconds left on the clock. We know the end. The Hawks fall to 6-8 after this one while the Cavs are able to maintain the lead in the Eastern Conference. The Hawks will go on a big road trip now with the Blazers as their next opponent.

ImageFirst 40+ points game this season for LeBron James. He shot 17-34 from the field.
ImageSeason-high 7 turnovers for Joe Johnson. But also 34 points and 8 assists.
ImageThe Hawks went to the line 21 times, Cleveland 39.
ImageZydrunas Ilgauskas and Donyell Marshall combined for 32 rebounds.

Well it may be said: James is the King. But I think the game was very equal at the second half and it was the unlucky end. Too bad you couldn't defend James in the last seconds.

Great recap and read as always, and don't worry about no giving the previews. Its a really tough job to make through the all 82 games.

Oh tough loss... The Cavs were doing really great, especially LeBron... I actually never saw LeBron being a clutch in Live series... Well good luck next time, you should work on defense a little..

Tough loss, James can be a handfull for any defender. But the Cavs seems to play extremly good in your dynasty, so from that point you played a good game...

Hm.. superb defense right there by Josh Smith on LeBron.. that's definately going to win his Defensive Player of the Year. At least his shoes are nice.

Hey Folks, I am sorry but I have to say I kinda lost motivation to update this as you maybe noticed. I did not have that much time lately but when I thought I could update I noticed that I just do not feel like continuing this one. I hate to say that since I did always dislike those guys who start dynasty after dynasty.
For reasons I have to say that I really like to play with the new NLSC roster by Andrew which is very very cool. Another point is what I noticed when I played with the new roster, that the Hawks are just weak. And I really want to have more fun than loosing all the time. So I dont know yet whether to start a new one or just play exhibition matches all the time like I do at the moment. When I start a new one, definitely with a contender. But I dont know yet which team I like, maybe some advice would be cool.
I am really sorry to end this, but 82 games with a loosing team is impossible.

I totally understand you. Its not fun to play with the team, which always lose and you see no future, because its almost impossible to finish all the 82 without simulation and without losing motivation. My advice is to take your time, find a team to be fun to play with and fits for your playing style, also try to think some new ideas in the dynasty. Will be waiting for your dynasty again ;)

Too bad... :( I was always hoping you would had updated your dynasty every time I logged on to the forum. It was great as long as it lasted. Hopefully you will get your motivation back.

I like to play with Cavaliers. They have LeBron, but guys like Gooden and Hughes can also play really good, and you can play som sort of high-tempo basket.

Marquis, thx for your appreciation, some new ideas would be nice, also to find a way of finishing a season in a short time. I hope I can find this way.

Sacke12, Im really sry :( thank you for following this, really appreciated.
Cavs sound good, but I feel like taking a team of the West, since we have many nice teams there.

TheBeast, Thank you, Rockets are a cool team I must say. Definitely one of these contenders in the West.

Pursuer, Yeah, Im sry, but the 82 games thingy does not work with a team that needs to develope ... I am not sure yet if I will do a new one. We will see. Thank you.
