I like rap, but I don't listen to anything hard core.

Sat Jan 06, 2007 3:26 am

Download that, it's a mixture of all rap styles...

Sat Jan 06, 2007 3:27 am

Just discovered a group called "BOND", it's a DJ running four turntables, and four ladies playing violin, cello, etc. It's great.

Sat Jan 06, 2007 3:44 am

I used to have some of their music... English group I think. Then I had to reformat my computer. Download Explosive, it's a great song. Allegretto is also a good song.

Sat Jan 06, 2007 11:34 am

Bond are Australian/English, I think it's 1/2 and 1/2.

Quite nice list. Actually I do not really listen to Nas very much, but the new album is really dope, you should get that.

You and your OutKast.

Sun Jan 14, 2007 8:03 pm

I don't know why but I can't stand listening to those mixed lists with like 20 songs from 20 different albums. I always listen to the album as a whole, not just specific songs.

Anyways, rite now I'm listening to Large Professor - The LP.

I've also been bumping the Army Of The Pharaohs a lot lately. Torture Papers is more than solid.

Sun Jan 14, 2007 8:48 pm

Lately Ive been listening to some older stuff.
Slum Village - Detroit Deli from 2004 is really hot.
And for sure always listening to some Tribe tracks.

Anyone heard any Wishbone Ash? Great 70's progressive rock band (although still kicking) that never really reached the status they truly deserve. They single handedly pioneered the 'twin lead' guitar. I would really recommend them. Try get either their self titled "Wishbone Ash" or their epic "Argus". If your just looking for a few tracks check out "Phoenix", "Errors of My Way", "Lady Whiskey", "Sometime World", "The King Will Come" and "Warrior". Honestly, any of them should be enough to have you hooked.

Wed Jan 17, 2007 10:54 am

Anyone here listen to Gym Class Heroes? Pretty good group you guys should check em out.

Who would you say they sound like? I'm interested.

Wed Jan 17, 2007 1:35 pm

Actually kind of a difficult question to answer. They don't neccesarily sound like Sabbath or Zeppelin but just as talented and creative. Some of there stuff is a lot like Floyd or King Crimson. I assure you it's probably worth downloading a few of those tracks i mentioned, see for yourself.

Wed Jan 17, 2007 1:37 pm

I think I will. Thanks 'dweeb.

Wed Jan 17, 2007 3:17 pm

Doobie, Gym Class Heroes are dope.
Travis has unreal flow.

Went to an Evanescence concert last night. It was awesome :headbang:

Thu Jan 18, 2007 6:38 am

Fuck. You.

:headbang:

What's better? Live or albums?

Thu Jan 18, 2007 6:43 am

Live for sure. You can't compare the experience with the albums. Amy Lee was great last night and the local newspapers were raving about her voice. I had great seats, it was like the 9th row and with a great view of the stage. The music was unbelievably loud, and though the concert felt kinda short, the songs were great (it was a mix of her current album and the new one.) It was fun :)

I can't stand her voice personally. I find it whiney and annoying to listen to.
