My own bball court

Postby Matt on Thu Aug 21, 2003 10:25 pm

recently we moved hous, and now the block we have is 2.5 times the size of the previous
this block is 1000m squared, and its divided into 2 back yards, the second part of the backyard is where i get to have my own bball court..........this second part of the yard is about 250m squared, which is easily enough for a halfcourt, but its 20m in width and 10 in length, so i'll have a really wide quarter court. Anyway, i'm putting up my ring tomorrow, and ive started to pave the area............in a few months the whole thing will be done, i'll have a table there and a CD player and that will be my lil Rucker park where i will spend my summer (even though i dont play organised ball anymore)
i feel so priviliged..............at the old house i only had the driveway to play on.,........this is so great

nah..............and it's not like i need a full court, that might be a bit excessive + a lot of work, 1/4 court is just perfect

nice... All i got at my dads is an old b-ball net that is just set up on the side of the road, luckily no one really drives down my road, that i have had for like 4, 5 years that the box on the backboard isn't there anymore. The netting is hanging down by one little knob thing.

At my mom's it is a newer one i have had for like 2 months or so that is at the front of my house and it sucks some times cause my mom lives in like complexs so there is always the people that live be me that park in front of it so I can't play

and the courts is like an half an hour walk away from my moms and dads...

That sounds sweet matt :!:

I got a ring up in my backyard...but only some of it is paved, under the ring is grass. but i can still play on it for like an hour. plus my high school is like 5 minute's walk from my house, so i can just go down there if i want a full paved court. (Y) So i know what it's like Matt.
