If you could be Marty McFly for one day...

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

I would go back to 1978 to when my parents were my age. Then I'd see if my parents were cool, or if they were just total losers. Plus then I'd get to see some of my favorite bands play live, and see if my parents were stoners. Plus I'd play on my dads basketball team so in the future I could prove to him that I'm better then he was.

For me, well, I don't speak Aramaic but I’d go back to Jesus’ ministry and see Him in action for a day. I understand He serves a pretty decent meal. Bread and fish sound fine for dinner. (Y)

i would go back in time and tell myself to invest every last dollar i had into microsoft

i'd go back in time to 2002 and see that amazing western conference finals between LA and Sacramento. There hasn't been a WCF like that since , with the namecalling and intense rivalry.

If we were living it Back to the Future style you wouldnt just be able to go anywhere you would go back to a different time but be in the exact same town and place etc. I'd go back a few days and just bet money on pretty much every sporting event.

I agree actually. I'd like to be able to go back and sit in on the Continental Congress meetings and see the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the Consitution.

Aside from that, I'd really just like to go back and tell myself not to take life so seriously. Have a little more fun, and not to be afraid to go with the popular thing (i was a nonconformist, and sometimes i wouldn't do things i enjoyed just to uphold that) if it's what I enjoy. Maybe get myself a little more involved in athletics at a younger age so I'd be a better rounded person.

Oh yeah, one other thing. I'd somehow find a way to get my parents to live in a place other than this hicktown I'm in now.

Vacation in Atlantis.

Go back a million years and write "Patrick was here" on a rock that ends up being discovered by archaeologists in modern day.
Witness the creation and signing of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights.
Warn police about the massacre at Colombine High School.
Warn Tupac before his murder.
Stop Bush from becoming President somehow.

For my own life, I would probably go back and make sure I went to college straight out of high school, and help my dad stay active so he didn't have as much trouble walking.

You'd think the cops would be pretty suspicious or they'd think you were some how involved if you warned them about stuff like that, not that it's a bad idea or anything... ;)

I'd probably do what alot of other people said and go back a couple of years and try and invent stuff that i know became big and bet on Sports and Tattslotto :o

I would go back and see Oasis play both nights at Knebworth, and save John Lennon from being murdered. That simple. Oh I would be a happy man....

I have a few things in mind:

1. Spoil everyone about Star Wars, or even tell the public that Lucas stole the idea from me

2. Go back in time to warn the baby me about the things to come like, "Stop putting shit into your pants!"
