Problem patching Richard Hamilton

Postby RJHNY1 on Sat Jan 06, 2007 10:06 am

I took a 2007 RIP patch so RIP can have the close cropped hair that he has now.

I did the ritual with the 06 or 07 patch. I exported it, saved it as bmp, and imported it.

I extracted the fsh file to my sgsm folder. RIP has the close cropped hair in the game, but he still has the braids tip, the part that extends past the hair line on the neck.

I did Smush Parker too and had the same problem. The solution to eliminate Smush's "tips" was to delete the files that looked like "smparkeB_hair.ebo." However, I don't see any file like that for RIP in the sgsm folder. I only see rihamil.fsh and that's it.

From the 07 download, rihamil.fsh, plyrprts~RIHAM__.big, and riham__B.ebo were included. Maybe I have to put the .big or .ebo file in sgsm to get rid of those dreads/braids tips?

Thanks.

EDIT: I am having the same exact problem with Jermaine O'Neal with the "tips."

Here are the 2 images. I converted a 07 cyberface patch so Jermaine and RIP would go from braids to close crop hair. It worked, but the only problem is the "braid tips" are still there. You can see it in these pics.

You have to give them a new PLYRPKG and rename the files to the new PLYRPKG.

I am having a similar problem with Adam Morrison. In the first picture, posted by the patcher, Morrison looks normal. In 2005, Morrison looks really weird, like his head is bigger or something.

How do I go about doing this? This is really the first time I'm using patching programs like fshx and so on.

get Dbcommander and open up your roster folder and open up the players.dbf. In there you will see a list of all the players names, find richard hamilton and jermaine o'neal. scroll to your right until you find the category called PLYRPKG and it should be a 7 letter combination consisting of the first 2 letters of the players first name and the last 5 of the last name (e.g. RIHAMIL) change that to something different like RICHAMI but make sure its 7 letters. Then close DBcommander. Then rename the files you want to add so instead of rihamil.fsh it says richami.fsh, do that for jermaine oneal too.

A few questions

1. Which players.dbf do I want to open? I went to My Documents, NBA Live 2005, Database. Then I see "originaldb" and "workingdb." Which one do I want to modify?

2. Which files do I want to add? I was told that adding .ebo files from 07 patches would case 2005 to crash. All I did was add the .fsh. Like for Hamilton, I added "rihamil.fsh." Or am I renaming PLYRPKG AND the new .fsh?

Thanks again for the help.

Give me the .fsh files for Hamilton and O'Neal. I know how to do it. If you give me them, I will have it done this weekend.
