exporting jerseys as .png with DOLFFIN

(NBA Live 2000) When I export a jersey as a .png it shows the parts of the jersey transparent but If I open it in paint shop the transparent parts of the jersey turn black. How can I fix this.
EDIT: I found a way to keep the transparency. I exoprted as a .png from DOLFFIN then I converted the file as a .png (using DDS Converter 2.1) going into options and checking the box that says "Save alpha (if any)". Then when I open it in paint shop the correct parts are transparent.
Does anyone know how I can import and image that is doblue the original size for better quality?
