This is crazy, the Knicks win a couple games and they're 10th in the East again.
The East is toooooo weak, at least it's evened out a little bit compared to the beginning of the season. The top 8 teams in both conferences except Toronto are the only teams .500 and over.

Marbury and Curry have both been playing well lately.. that's finally a good step right there. Now if Crawford can work on his shot selection..

The Knicks should've made a trade with Frye this past off-season (maybe coupled with Francis) while his stock was high. He hasn't been living up to the expectations this season and he's taking away time from David Lee. What do y'all think about it?

no one knew david lee was this good thanks to brown's rotation. The knicks could of packaged one of them+j. rose and additional fillers for kg over the summer... sigh thanks larry brown.

Read in today's NY Daily News Isiah's looking at Chris Webber. I'm not surprised - that would be a typical Knick move, but I hope it's just a rumor.

not surprising but I think that Webber is smart enough not to come to NY. A complete mess is what the Knicks are currently, but slowly getting getting it together.

Isiah made a mistake calling that last time out, Marbury was in a groove, forget crawford, when you hot, you hot, but bad mistake there. Sigh hurts more cause its the Nets..

could also blame it on CURRY. HE HAD REBOUNDING POSITION OVER ROBINSON!!! HE LET A 40YR OLD OUT PLAY HIM..

jeff- you can see a difference Isiah has made. Usually for the past few years the knicks play for the first 3 quarters. Now they playing hard all game. Tonight vs the nets fans were leaving with 3min left but then the Knicks played hard and came back. They know how to play from behind now, Curry is developing a bit. Marbury is playing better. Richardson 3 is on this year. Lee is a hussling machine. Crawford is...Crawford.
They getting there, it definitely isn't a train wreck ride like last year, they making some progress..significant..well they need some more W's to get that respect.

They have a bunch of young players playing so thats something good for the future..

edit- Would uhh.. Jerome James be a better player to rebound and defend in last second moments than Curry? JJ could have his 5seconds of fame that way and won't be as worthless..

If Dolan decides to keep Isiah, I want him to hire a real GM. Someone with the smarts to get us out of the salary-cap hell Isiah put us in.

Great game by Lee tonight - 20 pts. & 16 boards. He should be wearing #34.

True, but the knicks were always in salary hell before this. At least Dolan realized that now and doesn't want Isiah to add any more.

The only problem Salaries are
1. Francis (Brown fault)
2. Jerome James (isiah fault)
3. Marbury (isiah- but we can live with this, haven't heard many wanting marbury to go lately...)
4. Jefferies? ($5mill, he does his job sometimes..)
5. Rose (but proves veteran leadership)

Richardson is fine, Curry is fine (finally living up to it), Crawford...well he is clutch lol..

I guess you right, a GM who won't dig us any further would make sense- especially when time to resign Lee, Frye and any other young ones who may be around when that time comes

I kind of like how they playing now, seems like they getting the chemistry together and Isiah vision is in effect.

But still 6 games under .500 shouldn't be getting so much credit yet...

he doesn't deserve to wear #34, Lee should wear that number. Everyone is so hyped about his offense, but his defense and rebounding is horrendous.

Yeah and the game before that, he had 1 rebound in the whole game (Lee had a big double-double obviously).
All I'm checking Knicks-wise these days are David Lee's stats. :lol:

Was watching ESPN and they said that Forbes magazine have the Knicks as the NBA's most valuable team, money wise. That should be enough right there for Stern to make Camp Cablevision sell the team. Dolan could care less, they are the laughing stock of the league and STILL are making the most money. I think the owners should have a vote every 3 years on which owner should sell their team, if any. Its just crazy.
