problem with starting the game

hi there,

my problem is, when I start the game after the image of carmelo anthony I get a black screen and the message:
[b]process nba2005 caused an error nba2005.exe.[/b]

i check one thread with this problem and that guy didn't have a good video card for that, but I checked the system requirements and I should be OK, can you be of any help please? thanks in advance

here are the details of my comp:

Operating system: windows ME
Processor: AMD Duron, MMX 3DNow, 1.0GHz
Memory: 128MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce2 MX
Appr.Total Memory: 63.5 MB

Try reinstalling the game.

I've tried that, but still the same thing. Have been searching the net for anyone with similar problem, but have found merely nobody, so I guess there must be something wrong with my pc. Well, will keep trying, maybe it will start just like that..

Is the cd scratched?

2005 has a downloadable full version? huh...didnt know that

CD is brand new from a shop, no scratches, nothing..

take it back mate do u still have the docket? if not check it for marks and clean it
