Just go to the first page and its got ratings etc then just skip through and look for the appearances, then mess around with the in depth appearance mode and get the player as close as possible.
These are the players i created. (You can only create 20 which sucks)

1. Leon Powe
2. Josh Powell
3. Solomon Jones
4. Yakhouba Diawara
5. Anthony Roberson
6. Chuck Hayes
7. Dee Brown
8. Rawle Marshall
9. Vassilis Spanoulis
10. Ronny Turiaf
11. Lawrence Roberts
12. Craig Smith
13. Linton Johnson
14. Sergio Rodriguez
15. Ime Udoka
16. Ronnie Price
17. Jorge Garbajosa
18. Paul Milsap
19. Jackie Butler
20. Maceo Baston

is that 20 player limit on next gen?
that would suck if it is.
I'm starting to put some missing players in, and there are just SO many, it's one of the few drawbacks of 2k7.

Yes the limit is on Next Gen, many people were hopeful 2k would add some of the important missing players in their roster updates but it hasnt happened so far.

I just tried to play online on the ps3 and for some reason when it shows "starting game..." whenever I accept a challenge or have a challenge accepted, it will say "unable to start game. refer to the online FAQ (which is empty) or the 2ksportsforums (which I just went to... no luck there). what's up with that? i can't get an online game going.

So does Chris Taft  I had 19/7 with him in 12 minutes without even trying.
Anyone else some more players that simply own in 2k7?
I'd like to make a team of hidden overachievers. :cheeky: :D

Marvin Williams does. I had a hawks association some time ago and in the first game he had like 16 rebounds. For his size he's an amazing rebounder plus he can step out and hit a jumpshot too. (Y)

Anthony Peeler is always awesome in the 2K games. Yao is far and away the best player in this entire game, it's worrying how unfair it is to use him. I traded Odom + picks etc for him and ended up beating the Bulls 104-37 on Hall Of Fame mode, Yao had like 18 blocks with the block sliders at 0 :?

Edit: Nick Van Exel is great aswell.

Gerald Green owns pretty viciously. I scored 18 with him in garbage time against the Rockets last night dunking over Yao and Mutombo and hitting turnaround jumpers.

I like Donyell Marshall, they leave him open so much from beyond the 3. Pretty much any shooting big man is good in this game.

Kobe really struggles in my game, whenever i play the Lakers he ends up with like 12 points with like 80% FG, the CPU doesnt shoot with him that much its weird, they tend to use the whole team and Odom usually bags like 30 on me. The Heat is a different story as D-Wade dominates and so does Shaq like in real life but the Lakers are messed up in mine a bit.

Anybody have the XBox version (possibly PS2 would have the same problem) and can't do any post moves except for turnaround jumpers? I've scoured the official 2k7 boards but no one even knows - seven or eight threads with no replies. It sucks that I can't pull off a jump hook of any kind in a game. I learned that Pape Sow's fadeaway isn't very lethal while trying to solve this problem.

I have the Xbox version. When you're posting up, pressing the shot stick upwards (mostly when you're actually backing someone down, like overpowering them) will do a jump hook or a running hook shot thing. Pressing down will do the fadeaway and the left/ride side do these completely useless jump shot things that look horrible.

I think I've figured it out - it seems that the turnaround jumpers occur if you HOLD the shot stick in one direction, and the hook shots and up-and-unders come if you TAP the shot stick in a direction. Glad I figured that one out.

I still don't like being locked into the post-up animation, mashing all the buttons trying to move slightly to the right so my kick-out pass doesn't get intercepted  .

Jae was basically right, but he kind of left out one thing. This year your camera angle effects the shot stick. So pulling the shot stick upwards on sideline view will do something different when pulling the shot stick upwards on 2k view. So basically just go practice with the same view you use in a game.I'm pretty sure that if you pull the shot stick towards your opponents baseline, you'll do a hook shot while facing your opponents baseline. And the same thing if you pull the shotstick towards your baseline, you'll do a hook shot while facing your baseline.

I got a question for the 360 users. Whats the isolated post thing that they were advertising? Is it just most post moves or what?

I just bought 2K7 for PS2 a little while ago and i noticed that superstar players have signature jumpshots and free-throw motions. (Y)

Is that the PS3?? cos the 360 has a good online system and its no different with this game. If you want to play online i suggest a 360 its much more efficient because its Microsoft.

Apparently when playing online in HD the game becomes pretty laggy on the 360 version. I don't know if it's the same problem on the PS3, I haven't actualy played the game, but thats what ive heard from reviews and the 2k forums.

yeah it's ps3. plus, the connections are pretty good even when playing someone with below average ping. very little lag, if any. I agree with a comment earlier with the rating system though. i was killing some dude with Lebron & the cavs and he quit at the half, then gave me a negative rating. what a bitch.
