Good win regardless of Kobe's bad shooting night. I hope they continue this positive stretch.

A MONTH?????? wtf I hate this crap. how will my fantasy teams survice without him?

I think they'll do alright. Vlad is getting his shooting stroke back, we have GREAT depth at PF and C. I'm guessing we should start Vlad or Cook(I much prefer Vlad, better D than Cookie).

lol Vlad better D than someone else? Last time I checked, he is a shooter, not a defender (but then again, so is Cook  ) Those Euros don't play defense very well. Exhibit A: Sasha Vujacic.

Majority of Europeans don't play well defensively... :)

Hope Odom recovers quick, Lakers are only 3-3 on the road..

Meh, a really bad loss for the Lakers. They had a chance to win but their lack of defense cost us the game and the division. We need Odom back.

For a second there I felt like they got eliminated from playoff contention.

Yea, they did have a shot to win but I dont blame it on their defense. I'd probably say Kobe was forcing it a bit when it wasnt necessary and it kinda disrupted the flow they had. A couple bad 3 pt attempts here and there when all they needed to do was grind out 2.

Ah well, moving on.

interestingly enough, I think today's game proves Lamar is more valuable than Kobe at this point in time. I mean, the Lakers killed their opponents the 1st 2 games without Kobe. he comes back, they get hot, and get taken down once Lamar gets hurt. I know it might be premature, but we'll see in a few games.

well prolly its because they had the experience playing without Kobe for like 11 games already and last time Lamar was injured this long was towards the end of 04-05 when the Lakers had Caron Butler, Brian Grant, Tierre Brown, Chucky Atkins and an active Chris Mihm on their roster. Also lets not forget they didnt even have a day to prepare for the Dallas game since it was a 2nd of a back-to-back set.

Nevertheless, i hope the Lakers make the transition fast.

Lamar is a more rounded player than Kobe. The Lakers wont do too well without him.

Kirilenko is the ONE euro that plays good D. I mean, the Euro superstars that came over were horrible at defense at first. The first that come to my mind are Dirk and Peja but also Vlad Rad, Giricek & Vujacic. Funny how the recurring theme is that they're all shooters (well Giricek & Sasha THINK they are).

Lakers come back from 21 down to beat the Rockets. Kobe had 53, 10 rebs and 8 assists. Smush also was big in the second half. Yao had his 3rd 35-15 game of the season.

He could shit on your head & you'd love it.

Great game by the Lakers, feels even better since it was a win over the Rockets.

Kobe dominated probably one of his best games ever, almost getting a triple double and getting 53 points is a fair achievement.

I'll ignore the 17-38 from the field because they got the win. Good game and good dunk from the Kob-meister. (y)

Wow, Gilbert dropping 60 on LA was very impressive I must admit.

Anyways I hate losing so I wont comment much on it. Kobe gave a solid performance tonight, 2 rebounds away from a triple double. 15 of 24 from the field was very efficient so I cant complain.

Check out Radmanovic. Had a huuuuuuge game with 20+ points and some valuable buckets down the stretch. I think they are definitely doing some things right on offense but its now down to tightening up the defense,

Moving on....
