I just got 2k7 for xbox, after already owning 2k6 and as Jae said, there isn't that much of a difference other than 3 way trades, a couple of rookies, 1 or 2 new crossovers and about 10 new jumpshots for about 20 guys. They use the same jump shots on different guys, LeBron and Wade have the exact same shot. Im also finding it hard to hit mid range shots with Melo.

Also does anyone know where i can find a full list of sig jump shots for the 360?

thanks

I know afew people share the same sig shot, but I know Wade and LeBron dont share the same one. I think Kobe and Wade have the same, and Ilgauskas and some other big man has the same shot. Really the only upgrades in 2k7 are afew sig shots, on fly coaching subs, team tendencies, and progressive fatigue.

I finally grabbed 2k7 for XBox - sure wish I had the $ to shell out for a 360. I was messing around in practice mode and it felt like there were still remnants of NBA Inside Drive 2004 in the game, but the gameplay is indeed much better than Live overall. I do miss Freestyle dribbling terribly, but almost every other facet of the game feels better. The ESPN presentation =

There is no point in playing 2k7 unless you have a next gen console, there isnt much more they can do for the current gen version so thats the reason its so similar, most of the attention is put into next gen and if you played the game on next gen then you will be blown away on how realistic this damn game is. If they keep this up 2k8 is gonna be almost the perfect basketball game.

So first you got 2k7 for xbox, then you bought a 360 with 2k7 straight after? :?

Anyway, I know the feeling you described, next-gen 2k7 really makes you speechless.

Has anyone started an Association?? i took the time the other day to sort out all the rosters and create some much needed missing players. I then began my first association with the Denver Nuggets of course. I love this mode their are so many options it really gives you full control, im planning on using that 3 team trade feature soon when i move K-mart and Nene, im in love with this game

PS: if i missed you sorry..., we got 8 ppl so far an there a few more that say will get the game or renew xbl gold.. so how many ppl do u guys think would be good... :?: We could start some sort of preseason while we wait for more players... what do u think :?:

Ok, anymore people want to get in? I'm thinking about maybe getting this started next weekend since I hit Christmas break and I'll have time to get it going. Also I'm actually going for a league type deal complete with trades and transactions and whatnot. Any suggestions on how many games in the season I should go? 29? And quarter length? IMO 5 minutes is pretty short but it might be easier for you guys if you want to keep it short.

well i finally got my 360 yesterday, and the first game that i bought was 2k7. And i love it. I absolutely love it. Obviously the graphics is amazing, but the game itself is very deep. There are some many features that i can't account them all. I'm still trying to adjust to not having a keyboard and no patches like LIVE, but that's ok. I LOVE IT!!!!

Trade Players

Postby GoLowDrew on Fri Dec 15, 2006 8:35 am

I'm sorry for not reading all 11 pages.

On trades on 2k7, are there salary rules that get in the way?

In other words, I would like to move players to update the roster, especially in Feb 07 of the trade deadline. But I don't want to deal with all the salary cap thing, which prevents you from making certain trades.

TIA

Yeah the salary cap comes into it. I don't know if you can turn it off, there's an option to override trades but I'm not sure if you could still do that if the salaries didn't work.

Keep it as short as possible...cause too long and people won't keep up. I know i personally might have trouble with time to play.

I dont have the Datel Xchange lead as it seems its not available in Australia. I got most of my CAPS from http://z10.invisionfree.com/Crossover_Sports/index.php?showtopic=3&st=165
Just go to the first page and its got ratings etc then just skip through and look for the appearances, then mess around with the in depth appearance mode and get the player as close as possible.
These are the players i created. (You can only create 20 which sucks)

1. Leon Powe
2. Josh Powell
3. Solomon Jones
4. Yakhouba Diawara
5. Anthony Roberson
6. Chuck Hayes
7. Dee Brown
8. Rawle Marshall
9. Vassilis Spanoulis
10. Ronny Turiaf
11. Lawrence Roberts
12. Craig Smith
13. Linton Johnson
14. Sergio Rodriguez
15. Ime Udoka
16. Ronnie Price
17. Jorge Garbajosa
18. Paul Milsap
19. Jackie Butler
20. Maceo Baston
