Well, I somehow like the jersey but It needs minor adjustments. The Knights logo isn't exactly the best, maybe you should try to create a new one (more bold and smaller font). Also the color in the NBA logo which should be white is gray.

Knights get New Assistant Coach

After much planing and other various thing, I had finally gotten a full roster. Now I was ready o take on the NBA. Then in the next split second, I realized I had no staff. I yelled at myself knowing I needed that the most the helop this orgainzation really run in the NBA. I began to call up some of my friend fro around the nation. First I called one of my best friends, Rick Spooford. He was from College and had played college basketball with me at Cornerstone University.

"Hey Rick, whats up man?"
"Aw, nothing much man, just looking for a job."
"Well, hey let me ask you this, you know how you always want to own my own NBA team and run it the way I wanted. Well, I bought out the New York Knicks and renamed them to the New York Knights"
"Dude, your kidding me right?"
"No man! Im telling you the truth!"
"That awesome Floyd."

Right before Rick had another chance to get in another word, I blurted out...

"Would you want to take the Assistant Coaching job for my team?"
"What? You would really want me to help with the team and help develop them into an NBA Championship team?
"Yes, we are best friends and we can use techniques we used to play basketball like we did in college."
"Yea, your right. How am I going to get all the way over to New York. You know I dont have much money to my name right now."
"Yes, I know that. I will arrange a flight for you as soon as we get off the phone ok?"
"Thanks man for the job offer! I will definatly accept and make sure and let me know when my flight is and all the information ok?"
"Ok See ya in a few days!"
"Goodbye!"

I hung up. Thuis was awesome I had my best friend as the Assistant Coach of the organization! This is going to be really exciting. Now with Rick Spooford filling the Assistant Coach spot, now all I needed was some trainers and a few scouts. Now was the really hard part. Trying to find someone who would want to scout for the team and be able to help players recover from injuries more quicker. I began to look through my Contact Book despiratly looking for people. I glanced at the clock and realized I had to get a finalized Roster to David Stern by 11:30 PM and the clock read 11:00 PM. I had to hurry. I quickly went on my computer and typed up the Roster that I planned to take into Training Camp. The roster was set like this...

New York Knights Roster

Starting 5

C - Zach Stultz :: Western Michigan :: 53
PF - Mike Maholt :: Auburn :: 33
SF - Justin Thompson :: Texas :: 18
SG - Adam King :: North Carolina :: 21
PG - Jamie Xi :: Xaiver :: 3

The Bench

SG - Alexander Sotirov :: Western Kentucky :: 31
PG - Yken Ong :: Phillipines :: 2
PF - Magic Turk :: Australia :: 12
SG - Doug Forbis :: Illinois :: 8
SF - Darko Stojakovic :: Bosnia :: 13
SG - Mohammad Hafiz :: N/A :: 6
SF - Mads Rasmussen :: N/A :: 4

IR

SF - Andy Baumea :: N/A :: 15

I still wanted to sign atleast 2 more players so I could have a little deeper team come later in the season if guys get tired out from the season.

The reason the logo is gray uis because I messed it up on Photoshop. I will fit that and try to make it a Mesh jersey. If anyone has any ideas of what the jersey should look like, please let me know. I know the Knights logo isn't that great, but it is still in the works sooo... Thanks for the input and more is coming in the story.

PRE-SEASON ACTION

KNIGHTS LOOK GOOD IN OPENER, BUT LOSE TO WARRIORS

NEW YORK 85, GOLDEN STATE 92

Image

NEW YORK, NY (AP) - After the New York Knicks were bought out in June by Floyd Turbo, their old assistant coach, he has totally turned the team in the right direction. On Friday night, they really showed that.

Early in the game, the Knights had jumped out to a 10-2 lead at the begining of the 1st Quarter, but then the Warriors made a huge run scoring 23 unanswered points which Baron Davis had 16 of the 23 scored in that time period. "That is what really killed us in the 1st Quarter. we were great until about 3 minutes left in the 1st Quarter, then our offense began to fall apart from there," commented Knights Head Coach Floyd Turbo.

In the 2nd Quarter, The Knights showed that even after their slow start, they can keep up with some of the best teams in the NBA. Alot of their scoring came from Justin Thompson, the Rookie from Texas, who went 3 - of - 4 from 3 point range and 5 - of - 5 on field goals for the quarter. The Knights really made some good runs, but they still couldn't get the lead back. "Golden State came up with some biug defensive stops which seemed to shut down our offence inside and made us become a team that lives and dies by the 3." commented Knight's Forward Mike Molholt. Going into halftime, the Knights still found themselves down 51-39.

When both teams came out of the Locker Room to play the 2nd Half, you could really see which team wanted to win the most so they could establish themselves in the NBA. The Knights began to chip away at the Warrios' lead and had gotten the lead down to 3 when Baron Davis and Jason Richardson hit back to back three's followed up by a Slam by Jason Richardson which put the Warriors once again up by 11. The Knights tried to shut shut down any offensive production from Golden State, but most of their tries were unsucessful which lead to Western Michigan standout, Zach Stultz, getting in foul trouble along with picking up a technical foul late in the 3rd Quarter.

The whole 4th Quarter, the Knights had to play without Stultz which gave some of the Knight's bench to prove themselves infront of NBA fans around the world. Big Man Small Forward, Darko Stojacovic, played Stultz's spot while he ws out of the game and helped bring the Knights within striking distance. "He has great length and will be a great force in the post in the NBA. That is only if he can stop going outside the whole time," commented the Warriors Head Coach. Stojacovic was able to grab some crutial rebounds and put backs to give the Knights a 3 point lead going towards the final seconds of the game. Unfortunately, the Knights were not able to stop the Warriors' late game attack which lead tot heir First Franchise loss to the Golden State Warriors.

"We learned alot about our team tonight. We definately have scorers we can put on the floor and they can produce. I am very happy with that," commented Coach Turbo, "We need to be able to have an inside presence. We were not able to establish one because Stultz got in foul trouble early, so they made our Bench step up which which we also learned alot. Darko Stojacovic stepped up and had a very nice game in the minutes he played. We just need to fine turn things and we will be a contender I can tell you that!"

------------------

BOXSCORE

KNIGHTS - 85
Justin Thompson - 24 PTS
Adam King - 19 PTS 5 STL
Zach Stultz - 12 PTS 6 REB
Darko Stojacovic - 12 PTS 6 REB
Jamie Xi - 14 PTS 7 AST

WARRIORS - 92
Baron Davis - 38 PTS
Jason Richardson - 25 PTS

My Coaching Problem Solved

After not being able to find a head coach for the Knights, I decidied I would step in as the Head Coach along with being the General Manager. This was a job that I always wanted, but it was an added bonus for me to be the Head Coach. I had stepped in as our Head Coach for our 1st Preseason game because I had not found a coach, but now I am offically making a decision to step into the Head Coaching spot on this roster. I lvoe the way our team is set up and I think we can make this a very positive season. Our roster is very deep. People have been questioning me about why I do not start Darko Stojacovic, I know he is a great player, but he is still way to young right now to let him in the Starting rotation. He seems more like a 6th Man sortof player. He can come off the bench and take it to the other team. I dont think he could take the pressure oh being a starter. Also, I think Adam King needs to get the ball more. He had 19 points in the game the other night, but he could have certainly had more if he would call for the ball a little bit more. If we make a few adjustments here and there, we can contend for an NBA Title. I am almost sure of it.

After, I thought about what adjustments I had to make to the team, I kept thinking of possibly 2 more players that I could add to the roster. I still had no one in mind. Then I moved onto the court issue. I got the old Knicks court, but I wanted to make a new floor, but I did not know who to get ahold of about it. I quickly grabbed my Contact cards on my desk and skimmed through them.

ROFL :lol: :lol: :lol:

I'm not impressed. Here are some ideas:

-Don't play the next game until the jersey patch is made

-Take screens of the box scores.

Play NBA Live 07, or put it in the right section.

The recap is okay, but that's about it.

ROFL, maybe you should PM me when you make pitiful attempts at insulting me, and making it look like NBA Live 06 hurts you even worse.

And I have better things than sit on my you-proclaimed-it-like-a-7-year-old-insult "fat" butt and deal with people like you.
