Looks pretty good (Y)
Maybe the ball is a bit too shiny and the shoes too bright though...

yep the ball is one of the things i improve;)

The major goal is, to make the arms more realistic!

All of Lighting patches (my v1 &v2 included) are too much shiny at the arms!
I think when you look at the first Preview Pic, it looks more real than v1 and v2, but I will hear what the other peoples think about that;)

True, I think the skin in v3 looks real nice, maybe a bit too shiny, but some more screens would be needed to see that.
Good job overall (Y)

I like your V3, but a couple of things to fix:

- white names on white jerseys
- the ball, it has too much shine imho

other than that i really like your lighting (Y)

Maybe it would be nice if authors would -not- do false advertising in threads name? This is not Next Generation Lighting. All it does is tweak ambient values which is not even close to faking how next generation lighting works in game engines.

With this you end up with an engine that does calculate specular and diffuse lighting information, yet ignores ambient information. You actually end up with a lesser image than what you had before with NBA Live 07, and it's definetly not next generation lighting.

I'm not sure why you're advertising this as "Next Gen Lighting", nor why anyone is advertising their lighting patch that way. No lighting patch we can create comes close to what next gen produces. So, is it just to hype it up and try and get some attention or something?

I'm not trying to take a shot at you Kraudi. I'm glad you're patching, man. Great work. Just curious is all.

Kraudi, I like v.2 the best. The range of the specular(shine) and diffuse lighting is smooth. In v.3 you can see the seperation in the specular and diffuse, and there is almost no shading(colour1) on the players.

First question: you need only one (choose the one you like more)
Second: put the file in sgsm folder.
