do you guys think i should change my quarter lengths to 12 mins from 8 minutes, or do you think the scores would be unrealistic?

Armstrong and Daniels sign contract extension

Image

Darrel Armstrong and Marquis Daniels both signed contract extensions this morning which should keep them in Indiana for the forseeable future. Daniels signed a contrat worth $10 million for 4 years and Armstrong signed on the dotted line for $5 million for 2 years.

Armstrong: "Indiana is a great club and I'm pretty sure this is where i want to end my career."

Daniels: "The Pacers and Rick Carlisle have accepted me into their family and im putting in the performances. I look forward to more healthy seasons here."

Good move... I believe Daniels will be at his prime three or four years later...

Daniels leads Indiana to win @ Portland

Daniels celebrates his game-winnign performance with the Indiana fans

Marquis Daniels responded to his contract extension by leading the Indiana Pacers to a victory over the unimpressive Trailblazers.

Image
C Jermaine O'Neal
PF Al Harrington
SF Marquis Daniels
SG Ricky Davis
PG Sarunas Jasekivicus

Image
C Jamaal Magloire
PF Zach Randolph
SF Darius Miles
SG Voshon Leonard
PG Sebastian Telfair

about the trailblazers:
currently ranked 4th in Northwest division, 28th overall - 5-9
PPG - Z. Randolph - 14.6
RPG - Z. Randolph - 7.9
APG - S. Telfair - 3.8
SPG - D. Miles - 1.64
BPG - D. Miles - 1.29

Indiana got off to a healthy 1st quarter lead with 8 points from Harrington, Daniels and O'Neal, by the time Randolph and Magloire had answered, the 1st quarter was over and the Pacers had a 5 point lead. Telfair got 5 assists in the second quarter and Randolph put away the points. Indiana came back though with Marquis Daniels who went on a 10-0 run. Portland were down and out by half-time with the score at 43-31. In the 3rd quarter, Jermaine O'Neal rubbed salt in the wounds and added 17 pts and 7 rebounds to the Pacers tally. Randolph jammed home a few more with Leonard from the outiside but Harrington and Davis linked up to give a commanding lead going into the final quarter. Magloire never gave up and added 14 points but it was Marquis Daniels who was the star of the show, adding 7 more points in the dying seconds
Final Score: Pacers 85-67 Trailblazers

POG - Marquis Daniels - 19pts, 9 rebs, 2 assts, 2 steal

Keystats: Jermaine O'Neal and Marquis Daniels crashed the boards with 15 rebs between them. Magloire and Randolph combined for 39 pts in the 2cnd half but couldn't stop Daniels 73% from the floor

Pacers release two players

The Indiana Pacers announced today that they have released PG Eddie Gill and SG J. Reed.

Eddie Gill has featured in 2 minutes of an Indiana game where Armstrong fouled out against the Heat whilst SG Reed has had no action in a Pacers jersey since his trade from the Minnesota Timberwolves.
