Makes me sad, because Kramer is probably my favorite TV show character.

Did anyone see his apology? It was very strange, he either looked fucked up on something, or just completely crazy.

Umm did no one consider he was being heckled and he was just trying to fuck with the guy to make him shut up? I'm not trying to excuse the massive amounts of wrong things about this: but this is absolutely nothing compared to the shit mel gibson said.

Yes it is..go read about the history of lynching in the U.S. Fifty-one years ago, a black boy was tortured & killed for whistling at a white woman. Nothing funny there.

And who's going to believe that lame apology? Like Mel Gibson, Richards should admit to what he really is.

That's why I respect the white Southerner who drives around with a Confederate battle flag on his pickup truck. At least I know where he's coming from, more than the phony liberals "up North".

like the whole mel gibson thing i mean cmon how many times has someone been drunk celebrity or not and say something and just use the excuse that they were drunk. when ur drunk or in this case angry the truth comes out. maybe not "worded" the way people like but some of what gibson and richards said has to have some basis of truth to it

He says he said those things because he was angry. That in no way changes that he is a racist. Those words can only come out of a racist's mouth, no matter how angry. Please, nobody try to defend this asshole. To say "He was only trying to shut the guy up" is ridiculous. He could've handled the situation without using such hateful language but instead he let his true colors show.

He just destroyed what little career he had left. I thought some of it was funny because I was looking at Michael Richards like he was Kramer, because thats how I remember him. Maybe I was looking at him like he was Stanley Spadowski from UHF.

I've heard racist jokes from comedians, but this one wasn't funny and he definitely crossed the line. It was sad to watch considering how much I enjoyed Seinfeld. Kramer wasn't actually my favorite character, so that lessens the stun a bit.
