Denver Nuggets Dynasty - Preseason

Postby sonic_313 on Wed Nov 15, 2006 6:23 am

I finally got the game to play as I like so it's time to start my dynasty. The sliders still need some minor tweaking so that's why I decided to do the preseason. I will not be making any changes to my rosters before I start the actual dynasty.
I'm using Playmakers' playbooks, Flash 3's sliders (will be modified), Revolution's aiact v8.1, Jimmy's roster patch 2.0 and some other graphical patches made by users in this community.
The aim of this dynasty is to be as realistic as possible. The beta patch works for me so the CPU does sub and I will sub for them as well to make it more realistic.
Also I have to say that I'm not good in Photoshop so no fancy graphics here.

I hope Hodge will be getting some playing time. He's still injured and the chances that his career will become better are pretty slim with the Nuggets, but I'm really rooting for the guy to pull through.

Three point shooting shouldn't be a problem for the Nuggets in Live 07, Dermarr and Smith should be able to fill in nicely for the time being since their three point ratings aren't too shabby until you can find a more legit replacement.

October 14th, 2006
Denver 103 : 89 Warriors

Good bench performance helps Nuggets past Warriors

J.R. Smith pulled off some flashy dunks as Nuggets got the lead after a slow start. Smith was 8/11 from the field with a team high 19 points. He also grabbed 5 boards in his first game for the Nuggets.
B. Davis got a minor injury just 5 minutes into the game, but was able to return in the second quarter. He had a perfect game after that with 25 points, 9 rebounds.
Nene and R. Evans combined for 22 points and 20 rebounds off the bench. Nene was also named Player Of the Game.
Nuggets currently have 6 PF on their team so there is a real battle for a place on the roster. That was a motivating factor as they all played well tonight. K. Martin had 16 points and 10 rebounds, while J. Smith had 4 and 7, E. Najera had 6 and 8.
Second year player J. Hodge had 4 points and 5 boards in 28 minutes. Hodge knows that he has to put up solid numbers in the preseason games if he wants to be the 2nd SG in the team.
It was a close three quarters but then Nuggets got the momentum on their side and pulled away for the victory.
