1.)OSU Vs. 2.)Michigan Thread

Postby Indy on Sat Nov 18, 2006 2:46 am

I know we already have some college football discussion here, but this game is so monumental that it deserves its own thread. I'm a diehard Buckeye fan if you can't tell, and I am so pumped for this game. I'll be there with my Malcolm Jenkins jersey on, and I have some Kick. Ass. Seats. I love going to the horseshoe more then any other stadium in sports, and this is going to be the best atmosphere of any game I've ever been to, bar none.

I have so many thoughts about the game, but I want to hear what the other college football fans have to say first.

Let's go Blue!! Win it for Bo!!

I'm pretty freakin excited, my roomates and I are having a ton of people over to watch "The Game" on our 50-inch tv. I'm also going to the Pistons/Rockets game tomorrow night, so if both my teams win it will be a great day. Can't wait!!

i agree....i just found out... RIP Bo :(

i think its gonna be an amazing game...If Michigan can successfully run the ball, i think they will control the game, but it will be tough in that crazy ass atmosphere..and they MUST get to Troy (and hopefully put him out of the game)...

Go Freakin Blue!!!

Oh wow, I just found out I have an extra 2 tickets. I was going with this girl that I'm sort of starting to date, and my friend and his girl were going to go, but he just called and said they wouldn't be able to make it because her mom just died, so they are flying to Seattle for that.

I wonder if I should sell the tickets there and make a shit load of money, or find 2 people who want to go last second.

Anyone interested in buying some tickets for The Game? Obviously I won't sell them to Michigan fans.

Definitely sell the tickets and make a pretty penny.

Let's go Henne, Hart, and the rest of the Wolverines!!

I'd be afraid of selling them to a closet Michigan fan. That type of thing could very well happen.

Plus I really don't need to money. I make more money at work then I know what to do with.

EDIT: I just saw a ESPNU commercial on tv where two people are riding in a car and the guy asks the lady where she is from and she says Michigan, Go Blue! and he bails out of the moving car and yells Go Buckeyes!

I saw that too, great commercial  . I see Ohio State winning this game by a field goal or a touchdown, even though I would like to see Michigan pull out the upset.

Troy Smith just won himself a Heisman with that performance yesterday. Tressel is now 5-1 against Michigan , and Smith 3-0 , every one of those games a great performance. It's a shame he's graduating this year. :(

The atmosphere there was amazing last night. That was the loudes the Shoe has ever been when Michigan started their first drive.

Even though the final was only by a field goal, I was never in doubt that my Bucks were going to come through. We were more in control of the game then it seemed. Michigan was not going to stop OSU's offense all game. If Michigan had gotten another drive and kicked a field goal, we would have marched down the field and scored. They had no answers. The only reason we had so much trouble to start the second half was because of our own mistakes.

GO BUCKS, LET'S TAKE IT HOME AGAIN!!!!!

By the way, this game topped the 2002 national championship.

Never thought it would have been such a high scoring game. Maybe both schools in the 20s with a defensive touchdown here and there on both sides. Not a bad game at all. Kudos to OSU.

Surprised the AP still has Michigan # 2 though. Aint no way I'd want to see a repeat in the Nat. Champ. game. Ah well, only the BCS matters right?

Yes. The USA Today poll actually has USC as #2. If USC beats Notre Dame in a few weeks USC might actually take the #2 spot and we won't see a rematch.
