Does regular lighting even work for you?

Its hard to find the settings.dat on here. Look in the 2005 and 06 sections. The 06 settings should also work.

where in the 'downloads' section do i find the settings.dat? my bad, i mean what category like announcements, general issues, patch requests, " " issues, etc?

I don't know. Look for it. Try technical issues first.

did it happen to you before too? i remember you used it before when you were playing in the practice mode. also here, my practice court floor flashes =>
does it help if i change anything in options to make it look and play better?

Plain and simple. Get a new GFX card
Sun Nov 12, 2006 4:57 pm
whats the best size and where is the best place to get one?
Sun Nov 12, 2006 11:27 pm
That is what happened to me when I used it. There is no option you can change. Either get a new graphics card or play without lighting.
Mon Nov 13, 2006 4:19 am
how can i change it back to default settings with no lighting?
or maybe can someone give to me a realistic 'default(no lighting)' details settings please?

Exit the game. Go to my documents/nba live 2005/settings.dat
Delete the settings.dat
Load up the game.
Tell me if that works

It has to do with how well the textures get drawn in the game, when you view them from far away and from a steep angle..
And as SilasDC said: Anisotropic filtering is the best (slowest), after that comes Trilinear, and last comes Bilinear filtering (fastest).
If you have a very good computer, run the game with anisotropic, but if have a 'not-so-good' computer, use trilinear or even bilinear.
