That's not a bad idea, seeing that you are dealing great with Jasikevicius and Armstrong...

But what do you want for him?

T-Wolves and Pacers agree terms for major trade

The Minnesota Timberwolves and the Indiana Pacers confirmed their transactions 2 minutes ago.

The Minnestoa Timberwolves acquire:
Pape Sow (C) + Jamaal Tinsley (PG)

The Indiana Pacers acquire:
Justin Reed (PG) + Ricky Davis (SG)

Rick Carlisle announced: "It is a great trade for Indiana, Ricky has already averaged 14.3 PPG, 6 steals and 6.7 ASSTS in just three games this season - we are very pleased to have him here. Pape Sow already said to me he wanted to leave and he saw Minnesota as a golden opportunity. Jmaal Tinsley has been a great player throught the years for Indiana Pacers, unfortunately this season, he hasnt shown us his best. We wish Pape and Jamaal the very best of luck for the future."

Dwayne Casey added: "We are very sad to see Ricky go, but Jamaal Tinsley is an excellent player and I belive he is what our team is missing, he can get balls into the inside men all the time, this will help KG immensley and make our team even stronger."

New-Boy Davis leads Pacers to a win @ The Bobcats.

Ricky Davis may not have been able to get a proper welcome for his first game in an Indiana jersey, but the fans that travelled to the Bobcats Arena in Charlotte were given a show none-the-less.

C Jermaine O'Neal
PF Al Harrington
SF Marquis Daniels
SG Ricky Davis
PG Sarunas Jasikivicius

Emeka Okafor got off to fine start as he lead the 2-6 Bobcats into a 30 second 4-0 lead. Jermaine O'Neal just managed to get squeeze through for a lay-up but Charlotte were relentless on offense making the lead 8-2 inside a minute. Rick Carlisle found himself already calling a time-out. But even after the hair-dryer treatment, nothing got better for Indiana, only worse as the Bobcats raced off to a 12-5 lead. Finally, the Pacers fought back as Ricky Davis got his first ever points for his new team Indiana and Marquis Daniels put up some of his own. Brevin Knight and Ricky Davis' 3 put the score at 14-12 to Charlotte, when Davis dunked over Okafor to give Indiana the lead. Jermaine O'Neal looked more comfortable on offense but Brevin Knight still managed to rip through the Pacer's D.
1st Quarter: Pacers 26-25 Bobcats

Charlotte started the 2cnd quarter much like the 1st with Okafor and Knight adding points to the soreboard which now read 29-26 to Charlotte, but a ruin from Davis, Jasikivicius and Harrington put Indiana into the lead. Then came the decisive point in the 2cnd quarter, Brevin Knight and Wagner went on a run of their own through the unimpressive Pacer's defense 42-36 Bobcats. Late in the 2cnd quarter, Harrington and O'Neal found their feet and put the Pacers into the lead once more. Indiana's fans feared the worse however when Ricky Davis was subbed off after a tangle with Emeka Okafor. Stephen Jackson stepped in and drained the two free-throws Ricky had earned. Brevin Knight's last second 3 though put Charlotte ahead by 1.
2cnd Quarter Pacers 53-54 Bobcats

Ricky Davis dunked home soem spectaculars but the Pacers were still behind at the end of the 1st half.

The injury to Ricky Davis was a minor one and he came straight back on at the start of the 3rd. It was Harrington however who got Indiana rolling, levelling the game 55-55. Davis and Jermaien O'Neal restored the lead until Gerald Wallace hit back with points of his own. Everything went downhill from there on for Indiana as poor defense collided with poor defense giving Charlotte a 66-60 lead but Ricky Davis managed to claw some back dunking home to bring Indy within 6. Jasikivicius was subbed off through injury and the only remaining point guard left on the bench was Eddie Gill, who hadn't seen any game action for the Pacers so far this season. Luckily he put away Sara's free-throws.
3rd Quarter: Pacers 71-81 Bobcats

3rd Quarter was all about Gerald Wallace and the Bobcats

Al Harrington lead the Pacer's to a bright start in the final quarter but yet again Wallace and Knight fought back for the Bobcats. Then the NBA saw its best defense yet as O'Neal and Harrington blocked a total of eight shots in 2 minutes and Ricky Davis got in for a few fast-break dunks. After that there was nothing holding Indiana down as the defense reamined constant and new-comer Ricky Davis sealed the win.
Final Score: Pacers 105-101 Bobcats

POG: Ricky Davis who played excellent on the offensive end getting 37 points on his debut performance.

Record 5-2

Answer Time with Marquis Daniels

Best team Perfromance: "Last night's against Charlotte, we worked well as team defensively"

Best Personal Perfromance: I'm gonna have to say the buzzer-beating finish from myself againt the 76ers!

The Hard-Man: "The obvious answer is either Harington or JJ. But i wouldn't wanna get involved with David Harrison either!! (laughs)

Worst dressed: "Errrrr I wouldn't like to say!! (laughs)

Best Dressed: "Me! (laughs) Probably Darrel (armstrong) I like the way he dresses"

Biggest Ego: "JJ without a doubt - he never leaves the court until hes got what he weants to achieve and its great to have some-one like that behind you"

Best Musical Taste: "Harrington"

Worst Musical Taste: "Saras!!! I was in his car this morning and I had to turn the record player off!

Worst Temper: Coach! (laughs) You don't wanna be on the bench when hes called a time-out and you're playing rubbish!"
(laughs)

Joker: Has to be Al but Ricky had some good'uns l;ast night on the plane home so there might be a competition there!

Bobcats get revenge on Indiana

The Indiana Pacers without injured Marquis Daniels went down @ Conseco Fieldhouse to the Charlotte Bobcats, who they defeated at the Bobcats Arena 2 nights ago

Starting Line-up:
C Jermaine O'Neal
PF Al Harrington
SF Danny Granger
SG Ricky Davis
PG Sarunas Jasekivicius

Harrington, Davis, Gerald Wallace and Sean May all put early points on the scoreboard even though the offense from both teams was not particularly satisfying for either team's head coach. Ricky Davis and Jermaine O'Neal soon got off the mark making the score 14-10 to the Pacers. A spirited comeback from Charlotte's Emeka Okafor, Knight and Wagner brang the Bobcats closer but a late burst from the outside men kept the Pacers in front by the end of the 1st.
1st Quarter: Pacers 28-22 Bobcats

Image
Ricky Davis got his first basket @ Conseco Fieldhouse in a Pacers jersey with style

Ricky Davis, Harrington and Brevin Knight raced off the mark early in the 2cnd but the Pacers extended their lead to 10. Jermaine O'Neal and Dajaun Wagner both became more consistent for their teams and carried them through to the end of the half.
2cnd Quarter: Pacers 55-45 Bobcats

Image
Ricky and Indiana were flying high by half time.

Indiana were completely unaware of how the Bobcats would respond but Okafor and Knight showed them, narrowing the gap to 3 at the start of the 3rd. However good passing from Jasekivicius found the Pacers inside men and they restored the 10 point lead.
3rd Quarter: Pacers 80-74

Much like the 3rd, Charlotte came out both guns blazing and narrowed the gap to just one basket. Harrington and Okafor hit good shots for their teams but Gerald Wallace gave Charlotte their first lead of the game halfway through the 4th. But excellent O'Neal defense ensured that the lead didnt last long as Jasekivicius and Davis converted with 4:12 left to go in the game. Sean May, Dajaun Wagner and Brevin Knight continued to hit the mid rangers, and Indiana's problems were about to get worst as Harrington fouled out with his team trailing by 3. The more than capable David Harrison came on and dunked on his first offensive play - he even blocked Okafor on the next and Jasekivicius along with JJ put Indiana into a 98-97 lead with 58 seconds remaining @ Conseco Fieldhouse. But Dajaun Wagner (the POG) struck money and couldn't miss, sending his team home happy with a well-earnt win over Indiana.
Final Score: Pacers 98-103 Bobcats.

Gerald Wallce and Charlotte kept the door shut in the 4th and final qaurter.
