Not a bad career for Steve Kerr. Hit a few big shots as a member of 5 championship teams, one of the best three point shooters in history (at one point the all-time leader in career 3PT%) and a winner of the 3 Point Shootout in 1997. He's also been known to make a few witty remarks every now and then, so he should do well in his new career as a TV analyst.

He once told about his career that he was just very lucky to be in the team, he goes in the ballgame and just hits big shots. Thanks for all, Steve.[/url]

Goodbye to Steve! You were good on all the Championship Teams you played for...I was angry cause you didn't play much GT on last years Spurs team but when he scored in the 6th game (??) of the West Finals against Dallas I was like: "Dude Kerr is awesome- he scored a three and two twos!! "

When I saw the "shot" on replay I was like, "Man- this guy is cooler than MJ...wait...He's just a GREAT Role-player!!"

That shot was sweet! So in tribute to Steve Kerr let's all stand and be in silence for a moment to think of Kerr!-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Ok- that's all folks...good luck to Kerr...one of the best three-point shooters- EVER!!

not that shot.... THE shot...

"But the crowning moment of his season came on his final shot of the year. With time winding down in Game 6 of the NBA Finals, Steve drained a shot from the free throw line to put the Bulls up for good. The Bulls took the championship and Steve won his second straight NBA Title." That was the 1996-1997 season.

If you wanna learn all about "THE shot", go to http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Fiel ... index2.htm

I don't wanna see Kerr as a commentator... I want him to return as a coach... along side Avery Johnson. That'd be just awsome.
