just watched butterfly effect 2. it sucked.

i loved erica durance in it, but the main character was a complete douchebag. fucking horrible, horrible actor. the story was pretty weak as well and the ending was very, very predictable. save your time and money and don't bother renting this piece of shit movie.

Yeah I really enjoyed the original, but I thought there was still a bit of Kelso in Ashton's performance. I'm a huge That 70s show fan so it is really hard for me to see him playing any other role.

Also, I watched the Hurricane the other night. Man I love that movie, Such a great story, really inspiring.

I also wathced a movie called '9 songs' which was pretty arthouse. It was basicly a combination of rock n roll bands from the early 2000s playing live plus the storyline about a couples relationship. There was a hell of a lot of sex in the movie (on the verge of porn), which my girlfriend actually loved. Haha - good times.

but back to the movie genre, a movie that did almost get me a little teary was Kakoda....who else has seen it?!? it's another very inspiring war movie, this time covering the Aussie volunteers holding over those savage, ruthless Japanese....damn they were vicious....after seeing that movie, I now understand why my fiance said her grandfather, who did Kakoda & Egypt (I think he did Egypt as well, not sure), wouldn't look another Japanese person in the face....

but yeah, any Aussies & Kiwis, since these troopers essentially saved NZ as well as Australia, should take a look at this movie....whether you like patriotic movies, factual based movies or war-based movies, it's was hard hitting

2. I just watched donnie darko again for the first time in like 8 months....and i had forgotten how much i truly love that movie...

3. The butterfly effect 2, your first clue it was going to be terrible: it was straight to video. The first one while interesting i think was too much...just violence wise etc. I mean yeah everyone knows that fucked up kid from when they were little would hit people and steal shit and burn things...but damn...that was a little much. i know it wasnt a realistic movie, but that one scene in the junkyard made it almost impossible for me to enjoy that movie.

Ok so I went and saw the prestige last night and I actually liked it. Alot of twists and turns I never really anticipated but was rather interesting from a viewers perspective. Its a representation of what happens when you take an obsession too far. I'd recommend anyone to watch it...I mean its not the best movie ever but its better than most options out there.

Waiting on Borat I must add.

I also skipped the opportunity to double up and watch The Departed. I was kinda tired and I wanted to actually watch it instead of sleeping through it. I'll maybe go see it tonight.

Saw An Inconvenient Truth. I can't imagine how much better this world would be hadn't Bush stole those elections in 2000. I also can't get rid of a feeling that this documentary and Gore's whole anti-global warming campaign is also him prepareing the voters for his second run for the White House.

That's my favourite horror movie The main character is so damn good. He's one of the most underrated actors that I can think of.
I haven't seen the sequel yet though, but I've been looking for it for a long time..

That's a movie I gotta watch next. Have you seen The Corporation? It's an excellent documentary that I think you'd like a lot.

After a week long break from watching movies,due to school .I was finally able to watch the Heartstopper.
And in my honest opinion its a very good movie,if you like horror movies of course.Two words say all about this movie : Blood Bath and that what it is.You will see a lot and I mean a lot of blood .So I wouldn't recommend this movie for those who can't stand blood.The storyline is ok,kind of weird but its good.I don't want to tell the movie away so you folks just watch it .

if you wanna watch a fucked up movie watch cannibal holocaust. i haven't watched it, i don't want to watch it, and in fact I would rather no one watch it ever, but just reading about it and seeing the pictures and I know that it is literally fucked up. not zombie eating people fucked up, banned in 50 countries fucked up. its like watching the video in the ring... except instead of killing you, it'll, uh, fuck you up. or perhaps being fucked up is a prerequisite to watching it....

The biggest controversy upon the film's release was the belief that this was an actual snuff film, which is a testament to the realism and brutality of the film. Director Ruggero Deodato and one of the film's producers were arrested and the film seized a week after the premiere. The courts in Milan believed Deodato actually had the actors in the film murdered for the camera, and they also believed that the gruesome "impalement scene" was indeed genuine. To make matters worse for Deodato, it was in the stars' contracts that they must not be in any film or media for a year after the release. Eventually, Deodato proved that the violence was staged (the realism of the gore can be attributed to the fact that all organs in the film were real pig organs[1]). Claims of this being a snuff film have cropped up as recently as 1993 in a Birmingham comic fair, where the authorities seized the film, believing that the blonde actor Perry Pirkanen was drugged and the natives were allowed to mutilate him as necessary.

in later years, the director has been quoted as regretting ever making the movie. you know that scrolling text at the end of most films "no animals were hurt during the filming of this movie?" this one should have "we killed every fucking animal we saw."
