Raptors Squeak Out of NJ on a High

Image Image

Vince Carter didn't have the same grin on his face this year, as he did last year. Instead, Chris Bosh held his hand up in approval as the Raptors slid by the Nets.

From the opening tip this game was a heated battle. Richard Jefferson and Morris Peterson who were dubbed tonight's "key matchup of the game" poured in back to back three pointers to get the game rolling. Both players cooled off though, Mo finished with 8 while Jefferson finished with 12.

Heading into the third quarter both teams were at a stand still, they were tied 70-70. Bosh and Carter took control in the remaming two quarters. Carter dropped 40 on a crazy .750 FG%. "He had a great game," Sam Mitchell remarked "simple as that". But Bosh's 18 points on 9-16 shooting was enough to give the Raptors a W. "They made plays down the stretch," said Laurence Frank "we just need to make plays".

The Raptors won 83-82 and they will be looking to carry this same luck back home with them when they play Charlie Villanueva and the Bucks.

Nice win, and yea those logos are whack 8-) . Raptors are actually pretty fun to play with in this game, though I'm 0-3 with them.

Thanks bro. Yeah the Raptors are a really fun team to play with, they're not stacked, but not awful. Those logos are on my photobucket account, anyone can use them if they want.

Thanks. I had the boxscores typed out (I was multi-tasking) and I accidently closed the wrong application (not even looking, just click click click). I'll have them next game for sure.

Next update most likely tomorrow! Thanks for the interest.
