I'd love to see you post some more features like the chemistry and how each player is feeling but the player comments are too generic and I'd imagine it'd be difficult updating it all the time.

Yeah the rumor feature is great, some awesome stuff comes up in there. Yeah im thinking about including more stuff from the other features, ill probably do at the end of the month in the monthly recaps (Y)

Yeah I was really keen on getting him, but the Clippers seem to know his potential so I couldn't work a deal. Im just about to post the trade I made, im not sure if you'll like it :P

Amazing presentation, sick graphics and good realistic scores. Great to see JJ doing damage off the bench, and Dwight being his usual old dominant self (Y)

Magic Fill Perimeter Defense Needs In Three Player Deal

Image

Today it was announced by the Magic front office that they had completed a 3 player trade with the Portland Trailblazers.
As agreed the Magic sent Keyon Dooling and Pat Garrity to Portland in exchange for Darius Miles.

It was hardly a secret that Miles was unsettled in Portland, and the Blazers were open to any trade ideas.
The Magic who have actively been searching the market for a lengthy swingman with good defensive abilities
seem to have found what they think is the answer in Miles.
With the aquistion of Dooling the Blazers now have a veteran in the backcourt to help with the development of their younger guards.
Garrity will also help the Blazers in the shooting department.

According to Magic Coach Brian Hill, Orlando were reluctant to go through with the deal at first
believing they were getting the short end of the deal by giving up too much talent.
However with the logjam at the PG positon and the need for a player with Miles skills it wasnt long before they pulled the trigger.

Miles has a history of being a difficult player to coach, however the Magic are hoping he will fit in with the uprising youth movement.
"We are aware of Darius' past, but we think he can put that all behind him and contribute greatly to this teams future" Stated Hill
"We wish Keyon and Pat the best for their careers, and are very grateful for their services to the club."

With Dooling now out of the picture the Magic will be able to open up more playing time for young guards Travis Diener and Carlos Arroyo.
Miles will most likely come off the bench and share time at the PF,SF and SG spots.

The three traded players sporting their new jeresys, both teams will be looking for imediate impacts from the three.

Thanks mate, Yeah Dwight is an absolute beast, if I can get him the ball he usually converts down low. You managed to get a DVD drive yet?

Thanks dude, yeah JJ is deffinately going to be a big part of the team, the trade was made mainly to get a defensive player for when JJ cant handle the opposing 2 guard, so he is deffinately part of my plans.

I was waiting for the update, now I can go to bed and sleep well . Because Miles can't cause offcourt trouble in NBA Live, its a very good deal. Garrity can be pretty good because of his size and shooting. Dooling is quite a good backup. Niether team lost on this trade, either way Miles would of been shiped, but they got some real nice talent back, and you got exactly what you wanted. Looking forward to seeing what Travis Diener can do, he's a great passer, shooter and a pretty good overall scorer. Nice trade (Y)

Good shit.
Hopefully Miles can start fresh in Orlando.
And Dooling will make an impact as a PG in Portland.
Ariza is stronger but shorter.
That might be a problem.
Keep it up though.
Nice win vs Chi-Town.

 Glad you can sleep well now. Yes I thought it was a pretty fair and realistic trade.

Yeah well now that Darius is there I have quite a few options for different matchups, if I really need height I can play Battie at PF, plus ive always got Outlaw, and will be looking to give Augustine some minutes at some stage this season.

BTW I just noticed that that rotation is not the one im currently using, I must have taken the wrong screen :?

I wont bother trading it since an Injury will be announced in the next week of games (N)

From a biased Portland point of view:

The Blazers needed to get rid of Miles so getting Dooling and Garrity is decent. Dooling brings PG depth (Jack and Dickoh (N) ) and adding Garrity gives another big man option. I smell a LaFrentz for Eddie Jones trade (Fuck I wish).

I'd still take Miles over all the players mentioned.

Man I've missed the start of your season.. The presentation is very nice.

About the trade, its a good one, but you should have taken Daniels, as you had in mind that trade, don't matter it would be unrealistic. OK, I'm biased

Nice work, this dynasty is awesome! I like the trade, Miles isn't the greatest, but a good value considering you still have Arroyo to back-up at PG and Howard and Milicic down low can hold their own. And since I'm a big fan of JJ, I like you starting him. Keep up the good work. (Y)

I like the trade (Y) with all the PG's that your team had, Dooling was expendable....you like athletic perimeter players so Garrity was never going to fit into your team plans, so it's a very good trade for you....considering Blazers would love to give away Miles, it's not unbelievable to see it happen IRL....another positive about the trade is that it opens up more PT for Diener, who should be in your rotation by now

Yeah that was one of the reasons behind the move

Yeah I thought it works well for both teams, I did lose a lot of shooting, but DMiles brings the Athleticsm skills that I need on the primeter, plus hes always been a player I want to do well, and now I have control over that :D

Haha yeah Marquis would have been nice, I might try make a move for him in the future since D Miles will become a fill time starter at SF as Hill declines so I will be needing another Guard n the future.

Anthony15 wrote:The trade is OK, but not one of the best, and maybe u shud start Bogans for the first year instead of JJ?

Yeah well it fits my playing style well and gives me a chance to give the young lead guards some more time

Thanks (Y) Yeah im hoping Arroyo can contribute well as a backup, he will have to earn his time if Deiner plays well.

Haha yeah I thought I might as well go with most of the ideas I had, good to see your reading (Y)

Yeah I think there were multiple reasons to pull the trade, I was always going to go with an Athletic swingman. It was a pitty I couldnt get Ross since I probably wouldn't have had to give up as much. I also was going to try a trade for Desmond Mason, but realistically I dont think the Hornets would be that keen to give him up.
Diener will be battling with Arroyo for minutes, im afraid that Deiner isn't rated quite as high as he possibly should be, I might have to address his ratings.

Whew, well that took awhile, the next week has quite a few games in it, so im unsure when it will be posted, deffinately in the next few days, but with exams my time is a little limited.

Excellent work on the presentation! This is so very graphically appealing - scoreboards = (Y)

Ross is one of those guys who's valuable in the actual NBA but is crippled in Live. Makes me wish they'd rewrite the engine with a better defensive system.
