Champions League: Inter 0-2 Bayern Munchen. What can I say about it? Absolutely nothing a part that Mancini and Moratti need to go for Inter's good, I even wasted 20€ of my budget to go see the match at San Siro :shake: . The only thing I can say to defend Inter is that maybe the referee's assistant made a few wrong offside calls, just that.
Last thing to finish: Ibrahimovic is a fucking prick and deserves to die
Dear Old World, you represent everything that's wrong...

LONDON, Oct 4 (Sw) - West Ham manager Alan Pardew has hit out in the Daily Mail to new Argentine signings Javier Mascherano and Carlos Tevez. According to the Hammers' boss, the players lack a professional approach to training and disturb the group.

Tevez especially is the traget of Pardew's anger. The striker has not found the net this season.

The manager said he would prefer to get rid of the Argentine duo who came in on a shock transfer during the summer.

"They are a disaster for the team," Pardew stated.

According to the article, he is looking into the possibility to offload the duo during the Winter transfer window.

The Daily Mail article goes against the image of Pardew supporting the duo in the media.

Hmm I haven't looked around but I wouldn't put a great deal of belief into that. The British tabloids are notorious around the World for making shit up and mis-quoting people. Though I'm not sure if the Daily Mail is still a tabloid, I'd expect to see that kind of thing in The Sun or The Mirror.

I share the same sentiments as you on the article but at the same time it may not be too far off. I'm sure people are beginning to doubt the duos abilities within the camp at this point so it may be interesting to follow in the coming weeks/months.

On another note: French GK Fabien Barthez retired from football.

Just a random post from me.

So, I have been following Ronaldo's progression in Madrid's training sessions and he seems just about ready to pair up full-time with Ruud. I think its just down to them being sure he can/cannot go the full 90. Apparently sparks are flying in training and they seem in sync so maybe this is the offensive boost they dearly need. A bunch of their defenders (4 i believe) are out and Cassano has a slight injury so they need all the help they can get. Reyes is still recovering from his injury as well so it must be tough with 3 matches coming up in the week. We might see a 3 defender formation a game or two (just guessing).

Anyways, looking forward to the weekend schedule. I dont get very excited for internationals although I found some pleasure in England losing so people will stop moaning about Sven and turn their attention to someone else. I like Steve so I wish him the best but he's not the superhuman manager they were hyping him as for a bit.

How dare you find pleasure in England losing  Can't wait for the league to be back instead of international games because league games just seem so much more competitive and exciting

I doubt it. The Pacific Cup is just 2 friendlies, one here, and the other one in Peru . I bet that you've heard about the America's Cup. Now that's a normal tournament (Y)

EDIT: Chelsea lost both goalies today (N). At the end of the game, Terry was playing goalie :)

England are a disgrace. They should just give up, or at least force the smaller countries to merge and become the United Kingdom... it'd basically be England + Ryan Giggs.

Speaking of internationals, I played a game of Pro Evo with Chile the other day, beat Argentina 3-2. It was good fun, Crespo is a beast in that game.

With all the talk focused around Ronaldinho's goalscoring slump he goes out and scores two goals against Sevilla (albeit 1 from the spot).

I honestly didnt think he wasnt playing well because the matches I saw he was very active and set up alot of goalscoring chances for Barca strikers. I cant tell the last time I saw Barca play where he didnt have at least 1 assist. I guess now its only goals that make a player great...rubbish standard in my opinion. Yes, he hasnt been the best in his national kit but when hes in Barca colors he has looked very good to me.

Maybe A-League doesnt belong in here... but wat the heck!

A-League Incident

Kevin Muscat isn't going to be charged with anything... when he was the one who pushed Kosmina over... it was a bit iffy from video replays... but you could probably say Muscat pushed him over first and Kossie reacted a bit too much. Still, it's both of their faults...

Problem is, Muscat has 'no case' to answer... wtf... even if he claims that, his track record is poor, hes a bit of a psycho and yet, the A-League let's him off... I don't get it...

The A-League is still very unprofessional IMO... if it's ever going to be an attractive destination for former internationals and the like they need to step up their game. These temporary contracts like with Carbone and Romario are stupid, it's just a bit of a joke when you consider lower tier teams in the USA do the same thing. The coaches are ridiculous too, they seem to be constantly fighting and carrying on. I hope it succeeds though.

Well, the tempoary contracts arent included i nthe league salary cap... I think they are payed for by the clubs in private...

Still, the league is still young and will take lots of time to become successful... sad thing is we're not even the retirement league yet for old players... maybe in a few eyars english players will start coming over to retire here

Still, the Muscat incident was stupid, if Kosmina is suspended for next game, Muscat should be too (N) Their arguement of him already getting a yellow card is stupid (N)

Yea, Chelsea are down to their 3rd string goalkeeper to face Barcelona this week as the bakcup is also out. Makes for a good story if Chelsea beat them then youll probably hear about some heroic keeping performance even if he only made one or two quality stops.

And funny enough CSKA Moskow beat them yesterday. Arsenal probably got too comfortable. Daniel Carvalho scored a rocket of a free kick and that was the difference between the two.

There were some nice goals yesterday, even Ruud's chip was quite impressive in Real's 4-1 drubbing of some side. Cant wait for Chelsea-Barca later today, should be a great one.

Kinda upset Barca lost but happy for Drogba oddly enough. He's quite underrated and I'm not one of his biggest fans either but this guy has been carrying Chelsea along quite a bit this year. They bring in s world class striker like Sheva and the way Drogba is playing after all the jeers he got last year you would almost forget Sheva was on the side (pretty invisible). Well taken game-winner and although I hate that they won I cant help but be happy the guy is truly showing his worth.

It's all because of the English game. That's why Mourinho is the best manager. He got Drogba, because he is simply born for British football. While Sheva is a wish of Abramovic, Mourinho didn't want to buy any "superstars". He isn't good in British football, that we all can see.

I don't know if Drogba was "born" for British football, he did struggle massively when he first came to Chelsea. If you remember they almost sold him back to a French club. I'd give Shevchenko some time aswell before writing him off.

Are there any sites that show highlights of Champion's League and/or EPL matches? I've never been able to find one, and it drives me mad.

Sorry to get off topic or anything, but I think that Steven Gerrard is overrated. He has looked bad this year, and hes on my fantasy premier team.

Although, Gerrard will turn it around during the year, he is killing my fantasy team.
