Any party involving rap music is going to suck major balls.

I think I've forgotten what thread I'm in.

I actually am, it's been years since I've been to a party where the guy : girl ratio hasn't been like 10 : 1.

I'm back, spent the last week in Croatia with my biology class. Anyways, has anyone checked out John Legend's Once Again yet? Even though I think it's not as good as Get Lifted I still like it a lot cause it's extremely relaxed and chilled.

And a big LMAO @ our clown DJ G  Thanks for amusing me.

This may be a lil off-topic but... people around our area are giving MILF a whole new meaning, if you get what I'm saying.

Anybody get a chance to listen to Evanescence's new album, The Open Door?

Frankly, I'm a little disappointed with the album. A lot of songs did grow on me, but none of them really made as much impact as the songs from Fallen did. I was looking for something more heavy and others to have more piano, but it feels like it gets lost sometimes. A really neat song, I'd have to say is Cloud Nine.. very Halloween-like, and Sweet Sacrifice is a good song.

^^ So is it good or bad? I think the first was really good, and I know that you had a lot of the same opinions as me on it, so I'll trust you here. Is the new one worth it? I was kinda hoping for the same as you, some heavy stuff and some soft stuff.

Any Primus fans? New CD is out today I think, maybe in another week. I can't believe they are back together and touring again, so cool. I'm going to see them November 17th. Since I came back to Chicago I've seen some really good shows, Muse, Mars Volta, Red Hot Chili Peppers and now Primus.

Wow, you got to see The Mars Volta AND Muse? Lucky guy. Last time I checked, Pearl Jam was coming, U2 and RHCP. Haven't heard much else though.

Listening to various songs from those albums, (was bored). I'm in an afi mood.

Also, if you don't get chills watching this than you are not human.

Are you going to AFI when they come here Peachy? I think it's November 11th or something, in Thebarton of all places. I'm not going to bother, fucking emo city and it's all ages so I can't get wasted.

Anyways, stuff I'm really into at the moment...

From First To Last - The Levy
Neverending White Lights - I Hope Your Heart Runs Empty (feat. the lead singer from Finger Eleven)
Jack's Mannequin (lead singer from Something Corporate's solo project) - Mixed Tape
32 Leaves - All Is Numb
AFI - Now The World
Hinder - Get Stoned (great lyrics, in their own way)

GRANDMA WHAT WAS IT LIIIIIIIIIKE TO BE AT THAT HOLIDAY SIIIIIIIIITE

Damn Clerks 2, I've watched it too many times.

I'm still (and most likely always) will be digging A Tribe Called Quest - Scenario. I'm also liking Eazy-E - Eazy-Er Said than Dunn.

I don't have enough time/patience to listen to albums

The first album was much better, imo. The new one is a bit more diverse, but doesn't have the same impact. I'd still get it, but it's nothing groundbreaking.

Exactly, was expecting a lot more myself.
