Life and Basketball

Hello and welcome to my dynasty. I am new here so go easy on me. I love basketball and I love writing and I am 13 so I decided to make a story and a dynasty. The game will not go straight into dynasty though, but it will go deeply into basketball.

Travis Conwell was walking out of the PHS high school as he just had an amazing game. His team was good, and it was mainly because of his. Everything in his life was going wrong except for Basketball. He knew he couldent get to college to get drafted, so he was taking his chances to go straight from high school. As he was walking to his car, his friend Jamaine was also in the parking lot. A car circled around the block, the window rolled down and Travis knew what was about to happen. Drive-by. Travis yelled for Jamaine but it was to late when Jamaine looked at Travis, the car was already on him. Jamaine dropped his gym bag and ran as hard as he could to get into the school. Travis ran to him and jumped on him to take the bullet from him, but it was no use because they both ended up being shot. There he was... Waking up in a hospital game. Travis had been shot 6 times and was lucky to be alive. 4 times in his right leg, and 2 in his right arm. The only thing that Travis had a clear memory of was the big game he had next week. The game that might determine weather he was pursuing a carear in Basketball. Then he remembered that he had also been involved in a shooting with Jamaine. It was bad enough knowing he might not play the biggest game of his life, but as the doctor came in and said ''I have some bad news...'' Travis knew what it was and started yelling because he knew what happened to Jamaine, he just didnt want to hear it.

Travis woke up the next morning and saw his grandparents there. He lived with them since he was 5, because his dad left and his mom was in prison. He was ready to go home and he was happy about it. ''Since their letting me go home so early, will I be able to play?'' Travis asked his grandmother. ''I dont know, we'll see how you feel'' she replied. The next few days Travis just layed around and did nothing. He was certain he coulden't play, as the game was only 2 days away. The only thing he could think about was how the man shooting him took away his dream, and how he would take away his life as soon as he got better. Travis was sleeping and woke up to a big suprise. LeBron James was standing next to him. He was Travis' favorite player since he lives in Cleveland. Travis' grandmother walked in the room, and she was just happy to see a smile on her grandsons face. She went through a lot of trouble getting LeBron there. ''So I hear you can hoop'' says James. ''Uh... Y-, yeah.'' Travis stammered. 'Well since I cant play you one on one, you got a tape or something I can watch to see your game?" Travis' grandmother put the tape in. ''Oooh! You got skills kid. Im going to come back in about a week when you are better, and me and you is gonna play one on one and I'll see what you can do'' James said, leaving the room.

Great! I started a new dynasty because I figured nobody would want to follow a dynasty that doesnt invlove basketball. But since you guys are into it, I will keep going. And I will post more of the story tonight. By the way, I am freestyling this all. Its not planned or anything I just sit down and write. Some people are asking for pics do you mean pics of the characters? Because he is not actually in the NBA yet so I havent started any games.
