The Bobcats : Building a dynasty

Postby clevelandboyz216 on Wed Oct 11, 2006 3:39 pm

I been thinking and the point of this is to do a dynasty story, not invlolve a whole diferant thing so I dropped my last dynasty to do this one.
Now dont hate me for this, but I am using NBA 2K7 right now until I get NBA Live 07. I will post pictures and stuff as soon as I get Live. Right now everything will be generic but I will make it better later.

Smart or not? Well, Brady Green, coach of the Charlotte Bobcats thought this was the best first move for the franchise. Here is what he had to say about it.

''My only intention right now is to build a good team. We have potential, but we are not a good team right now. I plan not only to move players around, but also to keep some and make them great. My first big move was trading Primoz Brezec and Raymond Felton to the Bulls for Ben Wallace. On the bright side, having Ben Wallace is good because he is a great rebounder, blocker, and is great in the paint, and I thought he would be good with Emeka Okafor as a big man. On the downside, and the only downside I think, is that before making this trade, we had a salary cap of 12.75 million and now it is down to 1.25 million.
Besides making trades, we are trying to build up our players. Okafor has great potential to be a star, and Gerald Wallace does nothing but help. My biggest focus of a player on the team is Adam Morrison. So right now I think things are looking great for us in the furre.
The only thing I am worried about is salary cap and how to get it without subtracting talent from our team.'' says Brady Green.

Well, we will see just how good of a trade this was tonight as the Bobcats have their first game againtest the Orlando Magic.

Good to see you got Wallace, but I think another downside from that trade is that you gave up Raymond Felton who is looking to be a pretty sweet PG of the future....

Yeah thats true, but right now I have Brevin Knight and he is playing really well. Im playing my first game right now and he is probably the best playing in this game so I wont have any problems with a PG right now, but your right so I have to start planning for the future.

I really, really like Morrison, SO KEEP IT! I believe he can be a solid shooter and probably an unstoppable scorer, he scored 35 points against me once...

I am keeping Morrison. He is an amazing shooter already and will be a star soon and he is young so no need in trading him right now for someone who is older when he will be a great young star.

Ahaha.
But on the other hand, bad trade trading Felton IMO.
Trading young for old is a no no.
He is a future PG plus Knight is aging and will likely retire in a few years.
Some goes to Ben Wallace.
You already had Sean May and Okafor.
Could of used them in a 1-2 Combo up front.
All good though, your dynasty.
Good luck.
