I can see that you were forcing with Marquis Daniels... 4 of 13 shooting... I probably would've done the same though. Marquis Daniels is hawt.

Whoa , nice writting there !! so , big Al Harrington leads the pacers ( i like that :) ) also
O'neal perfect on the field , maybe you must give more the ball to Jermaine.
Daniels with a lot of shoots , but just 4 scored so i know its your favourite player but he needs to calm down offensively and / or improve his shoot selection
Anyway the Nets are very strong so its a good start.
Carter OMG on fire 39 points , i think Granger needs to be in the starting 5 as SF or PF

I like the graphics and the pics !

PS : How do you do to make the CPU SUB ??

I imagine he just does the subs for them, thats what I am planning to do once I have the game and start my dynasty.

Anyway, nice presentation Marquis, you had pretty realistic stats. I like JO's efficiency (Y)

Shiet tough game though.
Carter been lighting up against you that game and made a few hilight dunks.
Williams did good off the bench for the Nets.
Seems like you subbed for the computer right
I am liking those Al stats as well as Granger.
Next time, try playing Powell at the PF. More suitable position.
Maybe thats why Carter blew up 39 Points on him.
But overall good shit man (Y)

Yeah, I subbed for computer
I just hate that bug and I can't stand how cpu doesn't sub at all. Yeah I will try him at PF next game.

lol I was not trying to create so many shots with him, but finally he had 13 shots wow

Thanks man. It was only the first preseason game, so I will surely give ball more to Jermaine later, just Al was hot in this game. And about Granger, yes he will be my starting 5 player, just I wanted to try Powell and Marshall to give a start at this game.

Thanks. I just do them  Go to settings, change the controlling team and do the substitutions.

Yeah, O'Neal was great this night, but it is easy to play for him against such a crappy Nets frontcourt. For Al too, thats why mine frontcourt dominated.

The first preseason victory by the Pacers
October 14th, 2006

Image
Danny Granger along with Al Harrington and Jermaine O'Neal led the Pacers to the victory

INDIANA PACERS 106 : 99 UTAH JAZZ

[ Pacers boxscore ][ Jazz boxscore ]

Indiana Pacers recorded the first preseason victory this year. They won against Utah Jazz at home after the Overtime. The game heroes were 3 big Pacers men: Jermaine O'Neal, Danny Granger and Al Harrington, who was anounced as the player of the game.

The game started terrible for the Pacers. They scored the first points in the game only after 3 minutes, when Jazz was ahead by 6 points. But later after some points by Stephen Jackson started to dominate in this game. Some easy layups by O'Neal and they are already leading the game. He scored 8 points at the 1st quarter. The 2nd quarter belonged only for Pacers. They were making easy shots and Jazz defense couldn't do anything. Al Harrington and Jermaine O'Neal had 30 points both just before the half time show.

Kirilenko was struggling at the first half, so he steped up at the second half. He made some important shots, stolen some balls and the lead was closed to 3 points. But Pacers replied with some shots by Jackson. And the last attack was the buzzerbeater 3 pointer by Danny Granger after the assist by Saras. So scoreboard showed the 9 points lead by the Pacers. 4th quarter was the shinning by Derek Fisher. He helped Jazz to close the lead and tie the game at the very end of the game. He had 18 points in that quarter, and the whole of 26 in all game. But forgot how to pass, only 1 assist by him.

So only 10 seconds to hit the decisive shot for the Pacers and O'Neal was not accurate and teams were constrained to play Overtime. Seemed that Jazz will look stronger in OT, just after the great 4th quarter by them. But Pacers and especially Danny Granger denied this statement. He had 8 points in the OT of the 12 Pacers points. While Jazz had only 5 points, struggling in the offense. So the game ended 106 : 99 and the first victory for the Pacers.

All the Jazz team made only 8 assists in the game, while Pacers - 30. Jazz grabbed more rebounds and made more shots than Pacers, but Pacers were more accurate shooting with 45 %, while Jazz only with 38 %. Both Mehmet Okur and Carlos Boozer grabbed for 14 rebounds. Jamal Tinsley and Sarunas Jasikevicius were struggling on shooting, but were good at grabbing rebounds and dishing assists. Saras had 7 of them, and Tinsley - 6.

Coach Rick Carlisle was happy about the victory, but didn't give it prominence. He was happy with perfect performance by Danny Granger, seems that this sophomore is improving more and more. If he play such in all the season, we will be able to think only about the best results. Coach promised that spectators will see Jeff Foster in the next game after 2 games on Inactive list, and probably give some rest to one of 2 big men.

Al Harrington said that he is feeling very comfortable at the new team this year. He was happy with his performance in these 2 games. He believes that this team is very tallented and need some more teamwork. Now Pacers are traning and preparing for the next preseason game against Minnesota Timberwolves.

What an amazing performance from the frontcourt. If Granger can continue to play like that I don't think you'll have any trouble at all.

Its_asdf, yeah thanks, I hope he will play like that, so he also could pretend to the MIP award.

Scorer--20, thanks, I'm pretty sure I will be looking for another PG, because I just don't like Tinsley and his performance in the game really piss me off. Saras is just too weak to get that starting position, but great PG for a backup

About to play the next game against Minnesota, just curious how many shots Mike James will make

I think you should make Saras your 6th man/shooter. And trade Tinsley for someone else. Maybe package him away with Chroshere or something?

Send him to NY, the knicks love to trade for rubbish.

True (Y)
But in my opinion you should keep Tinsley, and make Saras his back-up

Good to see your frontcourt playing so good, I guess you maybe need to look at making the backcourt better....

Good game vs Jazz, your frontcourt was really contributing.
But I am also rooting for Jackson instead of Marquis.

Wel guys, as I said before I will trade Tinsley away, thats almost sure. And I'll be looking for a great PG. For Anthony and hova, Daniels hasn't started the game, just he ended the game on the court, so end of the game boxscores show him as a starter

I will think more about the Telfair, but not really a fan of him.

Yeah the manually subbing is the way to go
